This Morning

This morning
              Driving along
Rounding the bend
Felt a tingling in my stomach
The start of something new
        rolled down the windows
Pushed on the gas just to go faster
To feel the cool air
Rushing at my face
Thoughts came flooding

Noticed trees with purple flowers
Trembling in the wind
Infused by the energy
Giving them the magic
They need
To dance in the wind
Coming to life
Turned the radio up
Felt my heart dance with
The trees
Longed to sit at the top
Of Sunset Cliffs
Like when I was 19
And and watch the sun rise
Longed to bring
All of you there
So we could stay up
All night talking
Making plans
Holding hands
To save the world
With nothing but
Our hearts
And a pen
Holding hands
Making plans
For the new world
We'll make
My friends its
Not to late!
We're just barely
At the gate!
We'll stop the
Wars
And protect the
Innocent
Those not saved
We'll
Avenge
With our
Words
Turning pens into
Pure white peacefus
Swords
Looking towards
The Sky
Flying High
Holding hands
You'll raise me up
With your faith and charisma
As I raise you
With mine
We're bringing about
A New Time
Crystal, Indigo, Rainbow Children
Let's Unite!
It's time to join in
The Fight!
Well prove that poetry
Is not dead!
But
Resurrected
Instead!
It's a Miraculous Time Machine
The ideals of the 60's
Are still here
Along with our own we've brought
We'll visit the
Future
And discover New
Planets
Beautiful
Habitable
Filled with Peaceful Beings
They'll teach Us
The
Empaths
To use our Powers for Peace
To create
A
Whole
New
World

Fragile

Fragile

Sometimes my heart is cloudy
Not wanting to venture so far
Dangerously close to old habits
Desiring shelter under any rock.

Dream Arrest

Landed in the desert, eyes scorched by dry wind, ran for days but was dragged, kicking and screaming back to reality, though my conscience should be that of a criminal, my eyes still burn and heart will yearn to run away with my dreams again.
