My Angel, My Mom

I'm here
 Standing still
 Looking into the clouds
 I close my eyes
 And take a deep breathe
 Sensing you near

Feeling the warmth of the sun
 Against my skin
 Is like feeling
 The tight hugs
You gave me when I was sad

 My heart is beating fast
 Not because I'm scared
 Not now
 Cause your love
 Is wrapped around me
 Like a snuggly blanket
 All nice and warm

A tear falls down my cheek
 But it isn't of sorrow
 It's letting me know
 That your all right
 And you still love me

So mom while your up there
 Please don't ever stop
 Being close by
 I can always be moved
 By your presence
 In my life

Especially knowing every time a humming bird
 Flies pass me
Watching the flowers grow bold and beautiful
out in the field of flowers

 Now my mind and soul
 Can truly be at peace
 I will always love you
Thank you for having me as your daughter

Am I the Only One

Am I the only one
Who sees the truth
Out there
In a made up reality
Am I the only one
That feels
The air changing
In our time
Am I the only one
Knows there is
Something
Going terribly wrong
Am I the only one
Hearing the noise
That is bringing
Untaming fires
Am I the only one
Carrying a heavy heart
Belonging to
The untouchable light
Am I the only one
Tasting
The rotten
Lies beyond the darkness

Looking, But Not Seeing

Parcel reflection
Is what you see
Cause you think
You are nothing
In this dieing world

But to your surprise
You know your something
And trying to believe
Takes a lot of courage
Eventually you will make it

Soon there will be
A reflection
You can admire
And understand
Until then
You are nothing
But a ghost
All alone
And struggling

Music To My Ears

Hearing the drums beat
     Down the halls
     Gets me moving
     My body grooves
     To the sound
     All around
     Feeling the strong emotions
     In every single lyric
     Helps get me through life
Loving all I have to do
Is push a bottom or turn a nob
     Even go outside
     It's like fireworks
Going off on the fourth of July
     Wherever you go
     Its there
     So freaking awesome
     For music

Once We Stop

Freedom is what we want. Freedom is what we get. Once we stop the war between human kind. Once we stop the fear and hurt of our children. Once we stop our prejuidce against others. Once we stop the blood shed of our people. Once we stop hungar and poverty of our nation. Once we stop all these things. We will get our for freedom of mind, body, and soul back.

Ashamed

What a shallow world we live in
 Wherever you turn
 People judge a person
 From the littlest things
 To the huge "normal" crap
 Why you ask
 Cause its a learned
 Its bigotry, its disgusting
 I'm not innocent here either
 I have in my lifetime
Been on the wrong the side
 Be honest to yourself
 You have too
I do know how it feels
To be on both sides of it
 Not good either way
 So ashamed
 Now I say
We can change the world together
 By helping ourselves and others
 To love
Love comes in all different colors
 Pick one
 Let's do it
 Damn it!

Ugly Person

I hate looking in the mirror
I see something ugly there
I wish I was different
Nothing makes me look pretty
I only feel pretty
When I am loved by others
I hate how I am
Can I look more prettier
Inside I'm so ugly
I hate it
Why?
I ask myself everyday
So ugly in and out
Thats what I think

My Love

My love dear love
Why did you leave me?
The day goes by and by
      Not seeing you........
           It breaks my heart
         Tears and more tears
                    Melting down
            My face
             So sad I cry
                Myself to sleep
                 Love-desperately
                     Indeed I need
                       I miss you
                         So my
                           Love

This Is a Possible

There is a possibily...Where you will be near...Tell me how it is...Guide me to you...My heart is in choas...Your the only one that knows...What I mean...Bring solitude ti me...I need to be at peace...There is a possibilty...Following you will triumph me...Strength will help now...I dont understand...At times...But I know your there...All I wanted was the light you have...Please help me...Never let go
