A Lighthouse In the Distance

A lighthouse in the distance is what I want to be 
A lighthouse in the distance is what you called me to be 
A lighthouse that represents Bethel 
A lighthouse that shines bright in the distance 
Where ships pass by looking at it's persistence
Even though the sun shines bright, the lighthouse shines brighter 
Looking at it you don't see paleness, darkness, or misfortune, but you see God's anointing as it's reflection 
A lighthouse in the distance that brings in broken ships 
Looking at it's aura as it tells its story

Reflection 
Let my life be a reflection of you 
When I walk,when I talk let me be an example 
Of what a saint should be, 
Let the light that shines through me be a reflection of a

Targeted For Being a Christian

The day I gave my soul to the Lord 
was the best decision I have ever made 
A decision that determines where I spend eternal life 
A decision that I am very proud about making 
A decision where I began to become a target 

I started to go against people who I thought were my friends 
I started to wrestle with things I never wrestled with 
I started to slowly go back into the world 
I started to realize that I need more of God 
I started to realize that I can’t go through this battle without his Holy Spirit 
April 11, 2015 that was the day I was filled with his Holy Spirit 
After that day I started to become an even bigger target 
When I truly started to get closer to God
It felt like I was having boulders thrown at me  
I started to deal with suicidal thoughts 
I was constantly being tormented at night 
I had no peace when I slept at night
I would think it was just because people don’t like me 
But, God and my family helped me realize it is a spiritual battle 
Everything I feel from people it is a spiritual thing 
That person is just being used by a spirit 


When I started to realize that I started praying against those evil spirits 
I started to write prayers everyday to God 
And that gave me strength
It is like I can tell him everything I am dealing with in my life 
even though he already knows 
Targeted for being a Christian is the lifestyle 
I chose when I gave my life to Christ 
Targeted for being a Christian 
is going to happen as I continue to stand for Christ

Prayer To God

Prayer to God 
O how I long to be close to you, 
How I long to be in your presence 
All I want to do God is be pleasing 
In your sight
All I want to is bring Glory to your name 
I pray you will give a spirit of boldness
I pray that you will give me the spirit 
Where all I care about is if what I’m doing
Is pleasing in your sight
I pray to God, for more you, for more of your 
Glory, for more of your anointing

Battle Within

This battle within 
A battle that is unending 
A battle where right wants to conqueror,
but wrong is still there
A battle where I am torn between two places 
In this battle I will have to choose which side I 
am on
In this battle I can not be like a flounder
Flounder where I just flip flop, and I do not 
know what side I am on
Flounder where I struggle to move, or struggle 
to make a decision 
Struggle to make a decision before 
it is too late
I will feel the consequences, or regrets 
from either decision I make


Flounder where I am transforming myself  
into two different things for each side 
Transform make a thorough or dramatic change in 
form, appearance, or character
When I transform I am turning 
myself into something that is not me  
This battle within is like fire vs. water 
Like cold vs. hot 
This battle within I am going to have to choose, 
either I am wrong or right 
Either I am hot or cold 
This battle within determines where I go

Unveiling the mask 
To reveal Adriyana
Unveiling the feeling of low 
Unveiling the past history  
Unveiling the fake smile 
Unveiling shyness 
Unveiling the shell 
To reveal who I really am 
To reveal who God has made me to be 
To reveal the young woman my parents have raised me to be 
A young woman that respects, love, and shows growth in my character 
Growth like a rose in the spring

The Well

The Well
The well is a place that never loses its essence 
It is a place where God’s spirit is poured 
Into the hearts of his people 
It is a place that brings healing,deliverance,
Salvation,and restoration 
It is a place where you will never thirst 
It is a place where all you have to do is draw near 
And it will be poured upon you 
It is a place where people who are hurt, sick, have
Un forgiveness, or anything else outside of God 
Comes in search of finding something to fulfill
Their thirst

Remaining Pure 
My body is God’s temple 
It is a temple that represents 
Purity,and a temple where the holy spirit dwells 
Remaining pure is something God asks,and wants me to keep
Remaining is what I shall be

God sends me the Man he wants me to marry
Remaining pure is what God asks for me to do
