Bully:

I sit and I listen , another child has died , Bullied and abused , This is now World Wide
This shit needs to stop , It must stop today , How many more kids will we bury this way
Broken and battered , You smile through the tears , School you should love , Not need to fear
Braces on your teeth , Freckles on your face They made you feel so out of place
Mom said I'm beautiful , That felt like a lie , The kids at the School Laugh and make me cry
I just wanted to be liked , I just wanted to be a friend , The Pain is too much..I want it to end
I do not feel pretty , I do not love myself , Please remember me and do not blame yourself

Remembering the Child

When I die...

Give my eyes to the sky.... Give my heart to the River. Give my lungs to the trees and my soul to Mother Earth...
As I will be reborn again.. paper in hand.. My message will be heard ...
Do not Mourn my death... Celebrate my life with the whispers of the child long dead and gone.
Stories of the man who made a difference.. Back alley's tagged with his name.. Good or bad.. He's remembered all the same ...
Generations of poverty and the life on the streets.. But remember him when you hear that Hip Hop beat..
Gone many years But his message still remains.. Native Pride forever Let us drink in his great name

Rez Life

Life on the rez it ain't no lie
Shots are fired and Lil homies die
Schools are lack so kids sell crack
No need for paper no need for class
Girls have no morals so they sell thier ass
Busted up stores , Busted up lives
So much tension you could cut with a knife
So much addiction so much infliction
will they live much longer , I got a prediction
We need to change we need a plan
We need some help please understand
Our people are strong , Our people are great
You need to listen and translate

The Beater

A man raises his hand... He Smacks his wife....
She cries.. What did I do.... Is this part of life....
Kids walk in... daddy is drunk... where is my mama?
she's in the trunk... Beating and bloody.....almost dead...
why did this happen. Something she said!
Mommy was leaving.. Daddy got mad...Now she's gone and were both sad
Daddy took her life... The bottle took his..
Know who's gonna love me and Lil sis

Residential Child :

A child in the system , A child who was unknown. beaten and abused this shit was condone ,
The church was my saviour so I was told , Then why was I treated so ugly and cold
Lies they had told to cover the truth , 30 years later I Speak to the youth
addiction and pain affected my life, Covering the tears I hid from the light.
hard to move on , harder to forget , I remember my friend that Lil brunette
Beaten and bloody and left in that room , whoever knew that would become her tomb
but now it is out , I can start to heal , the church must be held for the lives that they steal
I'm To old to show hate, But too proud to give in , Let this be a reminder of the world we live in!

Born

East Vancouver , Streets where I come from
I was born from a crack fiend , but she died young
Back alley .. needle in her neck, I was nothing more than a pay cheque
Her last check cashed , Dead in the Gutter .. I was left to fight... With out a mother.
8 hours old bloody and naked.. No hope at all.. would I even make it!
Found in an alley crying and alone.. Police man found me patrolling his zone
3 families later and many years have passed. have I found peace , hopefully at last
