Divine Sangbong Poem
Greater than the highest mountain placed across my way
Stronger than the host of darkness poised in stern array
Fiercer than the roaring lion closing on its prey
Yet gentler than a day old lamb asleep upon the hay.
There're few words that are good enough to aptly express
The greatness of God in this boundless universe
He can do more than we can imagine or think
He's the ultimate answer to just anything.
God is far more than able; He's far more than good
He's far more than able to say and to do
So let's give Him the highest of glory and fame
For He far more than honors His word than His name.

The shooting; the dying
The terror; the fright
The horror; the flight
The torture; the pain
The effort; the strain
The nightmarish dreams
The blood chilling screams
The stench; the decay
The struggle, the dismay
The unthinkable
The abominable
The demolition
The decapitation
The execution
The extermination
The anguish
To languish
The mercilessness
And fruitlessness
And woe

The storm is fast approaching; you feel like racing for the shore
Your arms are awesome weary and your finger's getting sore
Pilgrim relax please don't be anxious; just put a smile upon your face
Your oars may be lost and your boat's sinking; mine is fast enough to race
I'll cherish and sail you with great pleasure' to the best and safest bay
For I'm the answer to your prayers 'anytime by night or day
The waves may clasp like thunder; so much you cringe inside in fright
You stare around you searching for land but none seems to be in sight
The horror of drowning overwhelms you and sharks are hovering all around
Be patient be cool, I'm getting closer to haul you unto higher ground
The port of our call you've never seen it, what joy on you the sight will bring!
The days are of gold, the nights are diamonds, its got just summer days and
spring!
Far from the stormy seas
That's where you always love to be
I'm here to see that dream come true
And I will always be with you

You've been suffering for long
As you wade through the storms of life's highway
More might appear ahead but never let them pull you under
You've just got to be strong
Troubles and trials come but not to stay
You see men lax behind you almost dream of sweet surrender
Hold on to the line!
You've just got to get there
So trudge along with determination
You where ordained for this right from the start of God's creation
You need someone to care
And urge you unto great expectation
The starry skies at night will see you through and so will the sun
On you they shall shine!
Don't wait up!
Don't give up!
You've been holding so fast for so long.
With a grip like an eagle's, hold strong
"Twill soon be the dawn of your morn
Never give up the fight....just hold on!

Why such a hurry? Please take it nice and slow
Don't you be worried 'cause you've got a long way to go
Though a million take the journey, just a few do make it through
And if it takes just one to succeed, then darling, it's got to be you
You need someone to hold you; you need someone to care
To cherish and sustain you and drive away your fear
If you ever feel discouraged, remember I'm around
To support and uphold you from ever falling down
For you're my someone special; more dear to me than gold
I'd love to see you make it; like I did long ago
