True Indian

On the land of miracles,
Took place a miracle,
Missile man of our country was born.
People's president he was known,
APJ Abdul kalam was his identity.
Paving a path for young generation,
In the field of science and technology.
He inspired young minds.
He is no more on this earth,
But his soul hasn't left his motherland.
Freedom, strength and development
Were his dreams.
The day he was born,
He dedicated the day to learners.
The spark in his eyes,
The smile on his face,
And the confidence in his attitude,
Inspires me and every indian.
I am proud to be an indian.

Happily Born

Through the screams of pain,
I heard a cry,
A cry that indicated a birth of a new life.
Sitting in the hospital corridor,
I could hear the cry of happiness from tiny lungs,
I could experience the same happiness,
The family was going through.
Yes a girl child!
I thought to myself,
She might be lucky,
She has a modern family who cared for her
Thank god! she did not go through the pain of being killed.
This world has learnt to accept a girl child!
I am happy.............

End of Humanity

Those terrifying noise of bullets being fired,
Sights of corpses laying covered in blood,
Still haunts the survivors of 26/11.
Now those wicked minds have come back,
They've claimed the lives of our protectors,
They've again proved to be powerful.
Mother earth can't stop herself from crying,
She is witnessing deaths of her own children,
  Innocent people are being killed.
They came, they killed, and they died,
  And what did they achieve?
Curses from every corner of this world,
Let us pray for those who sacrificed their lives,
Let us pray for the change in those wicked minds,
Let us pray for a peaceful world,
Let us pray for unity, love and humanity.

A Busy Road

Having a cup of tea,
Sitting in my balcony,
Watching the world,
Looking at the busy roads.
Every eye had a dream,
Every soul had a story,
Some happy,some sad,
Some hungry,some mad.
And this is how it has to be!
I thought to myself......
Vehicles rushing to their destinations,
Like there is no tommorrow!
No time for human races,
All time for digital races.....
Some rich,some poor
Some successful, some failures.
And this is how it has to be!
I thought to myself.....
Few families, few couples,
Few children, few students,
Few workers, few parents,
Yes ! They all made up a BUSY ROAD!!!!

Supernatural Powers

The feel that makes every young mind anxious,
The topic which is never ending and mysterious.
Having felt an existence of good power,
Can't deny the probability of existence of evils.
When negative power is at its highest at 3am,
Rest of the day is reserved for godly powers !
Ouija boards are the fun factors in college life,
But bad souls can ruin that for an entire life !
Watching horror movies is fun,
Until you see a tag 'Based on true events' !
Every human being has a super natural power,
But many of them die living a normal life.
Discovering the supernatural power in us is difficult,
But as we all know nothing is impossible......

A Bus Journey

Every face had a story to tell,
Every heart had something to share....
Lost in their own worlds!
Heading to their destination.
Arrived a boy blind and handicapped,
Everyone eager to know him
Started a conversation with him
Tears rolled down everybody's cheeks!
Lost in this cruel world.....
Picked up by monsters!
His hands were cut and eyes pricked...
Helpless he roamed and begged.
Every face seemed shocked!
And so was I.
Strangers a moment ago,
Turned as a team,
To gift the unfortunate a new life,
A better future.
Now again tears rolled
But this time tears were blessings
They represented happiness
