Route 66

Hey kids get out in the car !
Dad, are we going very far ?
You don't ask, I won't tell...
We're going crazy, oh well.

Got to get out on the road...
to forget that heavy load !
It winds from Chicago to L.A.
Route 66 is where you should play.

Our '63 Buick is the car we drive...
takes lots of gas to keep it alive.
Has luxury and that ain't all...
its got a 445 that just will not stall !

Dad said look out the window...
see the USA while we go.
Gotta see it before its gone,
look there's a spaceship on that lawn !

You see everything on the Mother Road...
A blue whale and a giant horn toad.
In motor courts and wigwams you sleep,
buy postcard so memories you keep.

Now it's a little out of the way...
but more fun than the toll way.
See how America used to be,
when it was fun to be free !

There's mountains and lots of funny rocks,
sand and a canyon like a box.
Old drive inns and out door movies...
drink a malt and feel so groove.

I'd lay up on the window deck...
wave to trucks till the're a speck.
Love to look at old car and trucks...
saw armadillos, buffalo and bucks.

Had a lot of fun on the way !
We're almost to the coast and L.A.
So get your kicks...
drive on Route 66 !

To the fond memory of car trips when I was a kid.

Texas Stars

Under the Texas stars,
far away from the cars...
I see them twinkling so bright.

I thought about You and I,
what we said that night...
as I held you tight.

You told Me, You'd be true,
I said I'd never leave You...
under those bright Texas stars.

We are in love,
I'm your man...
and you're my little dove.

I thought about You today,
while making hay...
and know we'll be O.K.

Think I'll see You tonight,
and hold You tight...
under these bright Texas stars.

So I pull on my boots and hat,
can't wait til we chat...
gettin' slick for my gal.

You look like an angel,
dancing the two step...
till the music fades under those Texas stars.
By Perri Voge Texan Cowboy 2007

Street Scene

Come on girl, let's Cruise the scene...
The Tulsa Street Scene, You know what I mean !

Cruisin' in my Hot Rod, Gotta drive a Hot Rod...to be cool,
and make the scene

I got a cherry ride and a tank full of gas...
Got that V8 soundin' mean and movin' fast !

Cruisin' in my Hot Rod, Gotta drive a Hot Rod... to be cool,
and make the scene.

When We go to the drags, I have a Blast...
Settin low numbers and goin' FAST !

Cruisin' in my Hot Rod, Gotta drive a Hot Rod... to be cool,
and make the scene.

Goin' to the car shows, We make the scene...
Win a lot of trophys, make the other clubs green.

Cruisin' in my Hot Rod, Gotta drive a Hot Rod...to be cool,
and make the scene.

On Saturday nites, You know where We're found...
Cruisin' on Memorial, puttin' rubber on the ground !

Cruisin' in my Hot Rod, Gotta drive a Hot Rod... to be cool,
and make the scene.

Cruise on over and make the SCENE ! yah make the scene...

By Perri Voge for the Gang back home

My Grandpa M.

He was a lumberjack, bigger than life,
and always had time for his little wife.

The one who bent to tie my shoes,
and told Me not to drink booze.

He could build anything of wood,
and could do more than two men could.

He used to make cheese and build barns,
now He took Me for icecream and told yarns.

Full of wisdom and grace...
He seldom got in My face.

The one with answers to the riddles of life,
a man who didn't like war and strife.

One to run to at nite...
when things at home were not right.

He taught Me how to fish,
and to pronounce some German dish.

He gave Me a chance to be a man,
He taught me to say I can...

A man I hunted with...
He set aside many a myth.

GrandPa told Me about the LORD above,
and with GrandMa showed Me Love !

Air Speed System

A new invention to improve performance and speed from any fuel engine...

The system is a sealed airbox that opens under normal conditions but under
acceleration seals and directs compressed air from a reserve tank thru a preset
valve into the fuel system. This in turn boosts the horsepower with a tighter burn.

It consists of a special air box , injection valve, control and gauge, airlines,
reserve tank, and an electric compressor and on - off switch.

This newly designed system by P.V. can add 20-40 hp depending on the fuel and
fuel delivery system.

Remember Me

When I go away, from the places where I'd play...
Don't forget to say, I remember Him this way.
The stories about when We were young and bold...
the dances and the girls I'd hold.
Remember how I used to drive, without fear, GOD on my side...
fast and slick, my cars they shined, so many cars so little time.
How I won those races, and the grins upon my face...
how I like women wearing silk and lace.
Remember that I wanted a family...
kids to enjoy, a little girl and three little boys.
Stole from Me when they were small...
remember I missed and LOVE' em all !
How we fished and boated too,
My old trucks and the coupe' ,a '32.
The times that were good with harmony...
My life so rich and full ,on My way to blessed eternity.
When I go don't put Me away...
think of the songs I wrote and played.
Remember Me when the day is thru...
the good I used to do, great memories of ME and YOU !!

Me

From the heart of Texas, to the tip of Michigan...
I live free...I am a Man!

My travels stretch from sea to shining sea...
you never know where I will be.

I have climbed the highest peak...
even swam the Mississip'.

Met the worst and best...
been screwed and blessed.

I leave big steps to fill...
I hurt, and rely on pain pills.

I am a Nomad, not a tramp...
danced with ladys and some vamps.

Been, Artist, Builder, Cowboy, Designer, Father, Gardner, Lover...
Lumberjack, Minister, Nice, Operator, Painter, Pilot, Poet, Poor, Recovered.

Rich, Saved, Sign maker, Song writer, videotographer, welder and winner...
someone you'd like and invite to dinner.

All these I've done...
and the future is yet to be fun !
                                                                 By Perri R. Voge

Morning Light

When all seems lost and you can't see...

When things go bad as bad as bad can be...

When you are out of food and there's no money...

Just remember the joy of a bird in flight.

Remember when Jesus gave a blind man site.

Remember the love and beauty of the creators might.

Remember that darkness fades and then comes the morning light !

Divorce Is Not Final

The pain is back again, that no pills or bottle can cure...
I tried to set things straight, the TRUTH will come out sure.
They must understand, I did NOT leave, I was forced from my bed...
Against my will, with a gun to my head.
I was just ONE man against many, who wanted what I had...
My kids must understand, I am STILL their DAD !
I am a man who tried to hold my ground...
but there were four little kids around.
I was told to leave or no one would find my body again.
Hurt and kicked from town to town, I didn't have my friends.
They sold and stole it all, after they tore my family down...
I do not like being homeless and sleeping on the ground !
Fore no job can be found, when your name is trodden down...
so I do what I can and float around.
Disabled and riches GONE, it's not fair...
It was all MINE, kids, homes and cars, the judge don't care !
I had worked and paid for it all...
Divorce is a bunch of blood suckers taking it all !
The innocent take the horrible fall...
Dam you satan and the woman who STOLE it all !
But GOD is strong and this is not over yet...
They sealed their doom, you bet.
She does not let me see my kids...
so GOD won't let her live.
Eternity is a very long time...
to be standing in burning slime !!!
