Rejection is like a potion.
It can do weird things to you. Rejection isn't something I have gone through once,
it's something I go through everyday.
The only thing that gets me through rejection,
is knowing that there is still hope,
that one day I will meet someone that will accept,
and not reject me.

Before I met him my heart was alive and red,
towards the end it had turned black like a shallow well,
towards the end my life and love had been drained to the very last drop,
towards the end I felt my heart drop.

He led me to believe I had a chance.
He gave me a chance at happiness.
He gave me a chance to feel beautiful.
I thought he gave me the chance of being with him.
I had hopes and dreams that I thought,
I had a chance of accomplishing.
The chances he gave me,
I messed them up.
My advice to you always believe there is a chance,
but always know how many chances you get.
