A Butterfly

Behind the leaves, I saw a butterfly
As it gently squeezed out from its cocoon;
It tried to move slowly but surely
As it went out from its isolated home.

Below the cone, its head came out,
It looked around among the green leaves;
It squeezed again until it came out,
It flapped its wings as it prepared to leave.

At the back of its wings, I saw different colors
There were green and yellow; brown, red and blue;
With soft as cotton, flat wings it started to fly
Above the trees on high,
Or down to the grass below.

Never Be Such Simple

Never be such simple
To understand the chemistry of life—
To bring into vision the things
Those are unseen but support
And gave us a mortal life.
Never be such simple
To understand the power of God—
Whom, with simplicity create these things
Those are present in our sight;
And through these, we’re now alive.
Never be such simple
To understand the love of God—
Who provided us all these things
With a chance to live better, and
A promised of eternal life.

I Almost To Forget

I almost to forget
To seek God first;
To make Him as my priority
Before doing any activity...
I read many different books
And seek knowledge from folks;
But reading my Bible was set aside
I almost lost because no one to guide.
I almost to forget
Without God, my life is at fret;
But I focused more on worldly
‘Till I’d realized, I was trapped already.
I almost to forget
To make God be my first
But God never forgets
For He always provides all my needs.

A Night To Pray

Every night in my bed
Before going to sleep I bend
My knees, bow down my head
And whisper a prayer—
To the Lord my God, my Saviour;
That I may be safe from any danger…

I am praying for protection
Much more for my salvation
And strength to carry on—

I am going to a journey
To an unconscious state of my body;
Lying like dead in bed
In the middle of the night—
I should not forget to pray
For I know only His GRACE
Can allow me to see
The tomorrow’s morning light.
