Basketball

Behind the scenes
Always wanting to win
Scoring
Kangaroo hops
Exciting buzzer beater
Tough sport
Basic dribbling
Always exciting
Last chance to win
Losing streaks.

Middle School Graduation 2014

This is my time to shine,
To live a life that is mine.
This is my time to glow,
And let my true feelings show.
This is my time to cry,
To laugh, and to sigh.
This is my time,
And only mine.
I won't let it pass me by,
Like a fading star in the midnight sky.
This is my time.

Ocean

The ocean tickled my feet.
The waves ran across the shore,
It wrapped around me and gave me a hug.
The ocean sang while it crashed onto the shore,
It danced through the rocks.

All About Freedom

The fog is lifting
I'm up there with the clouds
The truth is coming at me
It's getting kind of loud
I'm telling everybody
"Hey", it's great to be alive
It's a crazy kind of feeling
When the truth arrives.

The truth within your spirit
It is written in your heart
It was given to you by fate,
Of you to be a part
So let that knowledge set you free
There ain't no chains to bind you
And when it sinks into you deep
All shadows, they fade too.

Freedoms not about your wealth
Or anything you do
It's not just about who you are
The one the world calls you
It's about only freedom,
The act of being,
The only authenticity
That one's poor life being free...

It's always about being you
And not letting others views
Make you something you are not,
Cause then you cannot lose
It's all about you being who you are
And loving all of you
Oh freedom that's my destination
That's where I'm heading to.

Wind

The wonderful wind whistles
Repeated reminders throughout the day
Telling tales of hat is coming
Predicting and preparing us to pray.
The wise winds sometimes whisper
The secrets that have been secretly hid.

Visiting the Creek

All alone
By the side of the
Creek
Dreaming and
Even
Feeling the
Gusts of wind
Have
Interfered with my
Joyful repose
Keeping
Little
Music
Notes to myself
On a
Parchment, inked by my
Quill pen
Resting
Smiling as sundown
Takes light from the sky
Until darkness blankets the creek
Very slowly the storm approaches
Waiting until St. Francis
Xavier sends a
Young owl to guide me home where,
Zzz's keep sleep to fill the night.

Teenagers

Your best friends become strangers,
Lollipops turn into cigarettes,
The innocent ones into sluts,
Homework goes in the house,
Soda becomes vodka,
And kisses turn into sex.
Your worst enemies were your siblings,
Race issues were about who ran the fastest.

September Eleventh

Sirens lament, a September song
Echoing sadness of memories so strong.
Prayers for the souls of those taken away,
Thoughts for the families, in our hearts to this day.
Evening came early, the night stayed long.
Morning started so bright, but went tragically wrong.
Blue cloudness skies, the sound of a plane
Eternal reminders bring that day back again
Remember it all.

Emergency crews, just ordinary guys
Laid their lives on the line as hell rained from the skies
Every last one of them selfless and brave
Valiant heroes with one aim-to save
Each one forever remembered with pride
No hearts left untouched by the many that died.
There's no lasting hope as the world now remembers
Heartfelt wishes that peace could from those embers.

Water

Water
Is clearly
A mystery
To me.

A solid?
A liquid?
A gas?
It's all three!

Freeze it,
Warm it,
Boil it,
You'll see.

Sunrise

A view of the sunrise is
Beautiful to anyone who sees it,
Covering the earth with rays of,
Daylight.
Every morning starts with the,
Future ahead,
Glowing brightly.
Heather
Is
Just awestruck by the,
Lake as steam rises.
Mornings in
Nature
Often inspire those who are
Present
Quiet
Reflection in today's,
Society are hard
To come by,
Unless we are
Vigilant and look for opportunities.
Winter mornings on
Xmas lead
You to your own
Zen.
