Demetrius Ellis Poem
I am the representee of a culture that is strong and powerful within
a brotherhood built on a solid rock of trust
A energy that flows through the vains and makes it way to the heart
Naked among the obvious eye,
you'll observe a master of an art at it's finest
Lonesome skin brought unto the world
Self reliance becomes a struggle to endure
nevertheless the tensions grow and the gravels thicken
society drastically emerge almost catarophic
Pride, respect, and my word is all questioned under the streetlights
it's a vivid decision
social insight becomes dismantled
And a generation of deception that once lured you
is bound to leave you with a bruise
Everything you desperately portrayed as a young blood
got you trapped in it's eye-candy

Demetrius Ellis Poem
Sometimes i feel my faith is a chest of lost treasure without a map
I know that I'm destined to be loyal servant known to man
In spite of the thornbushs cover my path
I'm never a pure breed
but yet only worthy to those who speak of the most high
As i harvest the most divine fruit on this fertile soil
promised to be drenched by the flawless fain drops rejuvenating all it's dead
roots
A treasure of the gates eases my heaviest burden
nevertheless conquering my vows and wages of supremecacy is a portrait of
marbleitself
My golden armor shied's me from the patrons of man
