Meowing Cat

Shut up and go away please
Meowing cats are getting to me
In the middle of the night for food or company
Shut up and go away please
Stop scratching my calves I want to sleep
Daytime is for food, love and games
Shut up and go away please
Meowing cats are getting to me

Meowing Cat 2

The gerbil is not food
She doesn't like you
You pounce and prey upon my friend
The gerbil is not food
You paw at her, but she will bite
Your claws will never hold her tight
The gerbil is not food
She doesn't like you

Inspriration

Inspiration
Easy for some to find
Difficult for others
It's like you're stuck in a wormhole
Ideas just out of your reach, but you can't grasp them
The hole pulls you in,
swallowing you and your every point of interest deeper and deeper
the thoughts floating farther and farther out of your reach...

Like a short person trying to reach the top shelf
or a racer giving up at the halfway mark,
it feels impossible to reach your goal,

But when you do it's amazing
the overwhelming power of success fills your every move
like walking on air
reaching the top shelf
or finishing that race
grasping the idea bubbles are hard,
but you can do it
It's not the bully at the bus stop
or the brick wall in the road stopping you,
It's you
You have to face the challenge ahead and try your best
think of the funny moments in your life
or the things that might happen tomorrow
Whether for a poem
a drawing
or that essay due tomorrow,
inspiration will hit you eventually
It just takes time
and sometimes strange situations
but when it hits,
you will know that you will create something great

Headaches and Migraines

Will you come with me?
Are you really never going to leave my side?
Or my head as I say
Or maybe even my mind

Dark red
White
Flashes of orange
They are all too bright

Like an explosion in my eyes
Or in the front of my brain
You never leave me alone
Am I going insane?

Why don’t don’t you just go?
Aren't you tired of me?
I guess not I suppose
So I shall never be lonely

I try to sleep
And just drift away
Like a boat on the water
Misted with ocean spray
It will stay there until shipwrecked one day

Tears in my eyes
I know you will never leave me
Like a curse
You follow me
Like a shepherd and his sheep
With a faithful companion
Even into the fog
You’ll never leave me
Just like my dog
