Emotional Warriors

Thy hatred of thy self
More consuming then that
Of a thousand oceans

In thy mind a battle ground
Of the most colossal stages
Grander the that of
The Roman Colosseum

Between two opponents
Both grander than that of Goliath himself

Two emotions fight
As if warriors possessed
Hatred and happiness
Dark and light

Though I hope for happiness
The darkness of hatred
Can cloud even the brightest of hopes days

The minds battle settles
With a realization
For both warriors
For both emotions
For thy mind
To know true happiness
To know true peace
Both emotions
Must be in balance

Learning Love

We say love is kind
Love is patient
But I say
Love learns to be
Kind and patient

Through the people it hurt
People it lost
People it killed
People it helped
People it scared

But once loves journey
Is over
It settles down
With another love
To be how we say kind and patient

One So Lovely

The death of one so lovely
Is truly a tragedy
Of the grandest scales
Unmatched by most

When life once breathed
Its lovely aroma into
Her ever tender
Body
It was full
Of beauty and love
Of compassion and kindness

Yet when death took
Its ugly hand upon her
Beauty and drained
It all away
Yet even in death
Her beauty still shines
As bright as a thousand suns

Tis such a tragedy
To take someone
Away who brought
True happiness and bliss
To even the most depressed

Tis a tragedy
That will never
Be fully forgiven

Love You Forevermore

I love you
I love your smile
I love your laugh
I love your beauty
I love your mind
I love your heart
I love your soul
But most importantly I simply love you
For you truly are an angel
That blessed my heart forevermore
I wish I could tell you more
Though fear we do not have the time
So I’ll simply say I love you forevermore

Funny Family

Family is a funny word
It’s meant to mean the world
But to some its lesser than dirt
You can choose who you call family
But what if you can’t
Then the ones you call family
Leave
Run
Hide
From the monster they made you
Then what can you tell that monster for he knows the truth about
The word family

Drugs of Take and Give

Drugs take
Drugs give
Drugs take from the family
Drugs give to the addict
Drugs take life from the family
Drugs give life to the addict
Drugs take happiness from the family
Drugs give happiness to the addict
Drugs take a member of the family
Drugs give the addict to the angels and demons
He so sought in his most desperate of times

Angel

My angel
From up above
You make my heart sore
To places, only you could take it
For you truly love me and I you
You blessed a devil
For a devil and an angel know true bliss
In forever’s sweet kiss

To Say

To say I love you
Could never do my feelings justice
For a thousand years I could search
And still never truly find a way to tell you
How much I truly love you
For you are my happiness
My strength
My soul
My heart
My world
For this list could never end
So, I’ll simply say I love you

Truth Repeating

To kill oneself is
To take from all
One life
One joke
Was all it took
To drown one person
In a sea of sorrows
But truly drowned a thousand more
One person had no one
But truly had a thousand
A tale to be repeated
Over and over
A sad truth
Till the end of time

Monster Era

We are creatures
Born of a different era
In our own minds
Monsters and demons are born
Of disasters and scorn
Trying to control
Our life
Our time
Monsters
Demons
Creatures of another era
Begone for you do not belong
In our lives
Our time
Our era
