The Ocean

My heart sleeps by the Ocean.. Give me beach therapy please..
When all this world's troubles come upon me.. just let me dip my feet in the sea..
I don't ask for much just a little sand between my toes 
Enough to make this ole girl go ooohhh lala and away she goes.. 
When it's time for me to return back to reality.. 
I'll just stay here a little longer living in Peace you see.. 
Because the sand, the waves, the pure blue, green water is where I long to be.. 
Nothing can take place of living at the beach in splendid harmony..
Walking with Jesus is where I'll be living in serenity.. 
Talking to him about all the things I see.. 
Just pouring out my heart to him makes me feel free.. 
I want look back at all the things I left behind
because they want matter to me this time..
I'm on the beach you see where life is happy as can be..
Just to feel the wind upon my face as those waves come in it makes my heart race.. 
Ahh the feeling is so grand all the stress of life there's not a strand.. 
Ohh my see that beach over there that's it that's the place God gave to me, 
My my look at it glow.. More beautiful than a diamond in a bridal show.. 
I found my home where I belong.. 
Now I can finally sing my greatest song..

I Am Just Me

So much going through my mind these days
Trying to be patient and wait for it all to fade
I want someone to love me by whats in my heart
But most guys don't know how to be that smart

Their all looking for me to be perfect with no flaws
Yet even I sometimes feel like climbing the walls
I just want to be loved like everybody else does
Many times I have wished that I was

Some of you men just need to wake up
And quit being scared to get a dose of love in your cup
Because I got plenty to give you see
But so many of you want accept me

I'm just me what you see is what you get
If you would just get to know me you want regret
But for now guess I will go back to dealing with life
Even though at times it brings heartache and strife

Spending Time

Spend time with those that you are close to before their gone
Were not promised to be on this earth for very much long
Love and cherish the ones God has given to you
And always be there for them no matter what you do

As time goes on we get so busy with our daily life
We seem to forget about our family, friends, husband and wife
We must always let them know what they mean to us
Let them know were their for them and on that they can trust

A phone call to your family or friends can bring joy to their heart
Because it shows them that you love them and never want to depart
A simple hello can mean more than you will ever know
And put a Smile on their face that will cause such aglow

Don't miss out on spending time with someone you love
Because God never turned his back on us from above
So push everything aside and give that special one a call or visit today
Before you wake up one morning and they have gone away

God Is Always There

Do you know when someone shows you love
They just want you to show love to them to
It's sad when a heart is broken into
Because truly it can get the best of you

You may struggle for months with the pain
At times feel like you will never have nothing to gain
But if it wasn't for God being by your side
You would still be in your closets trying to hide

Some of us have spent too many years in sorrow
I hope you dont plan on living like that in your tommorrow
So put on a Smile and live for today
Show the world you're special in everyway

Even if no one on this earth shows you they care
God is always there to wipe away every tear

Our Insecurities

Nobody's unbreakable here on this planet
So many times insecurity is our granite
We want to be happy but this disease traps us
And causes us to get upset and lose trust

We hurt the ones we care so much about 
And fear in our life that love is without
We then apologize for the wrong we have done
Only to feel like we have been shun

We go to bed and cry ourself to sleep
Because we feel that rejection oh so deep
We just want to make things right again
So we hope our love will come back in the end

Feelings About Him

I'm having feelings and scared to express them
Not sure why I feel this way about him
Well maybe I do know but I'm scared he's gonna let go
Then I will be left alone again to reap what I sow

He's a good man with a special heart full of love
And him and I agree there is a God above
But yet he shows compassion and cares for me
I'm just wondering if maybe I'm too much for him to see

I try to hide my feelings but they always come out
Sometimes I wanna scream and sometimes I wanna shout
Does he know that my heart longs for his embrace
To feel him close to me and for him to touch my face

My lips desire the touch of his lips
While hes holding me close and my heart skips
I cant believe these feelings are so real
Sometimes he makes me cry and sometimes he gives me a thrill

I have told him many times before how much I care for him and adore
How I would love to walk hand and hand with him upon the beach shore
I know we've only known each other for a short time
But I wish one day in the future he could truly be mine

I will keep dreaming and maybe one day it will come true
And just keep getting to know him more as each day passes through
For him I don't want to lose because he's more precious than Jewels
And I don't want to be stupid and act like a fool..

Waiting For Him

Oh God my heart aches for that one true man
To come in my life and make me feel whole again
I guess sometimes I feel I ask for too much
Only to get let down and feel like a crutch

I see so many other couples so happy and in love
At times I have to wonder do you hear my plea from above
I hide the hurt so that way others don't know
And keep a smile on my face with a glow

So many nights I cry myself to sleep
Dealing with my pain that is so deep
I just want to be loved and needed you see
I guess I'm just not seeing it and shame on
me 

Many times others have hurt me in my life
And at one time I had such hatred and strife
But God you showed me how to love like no other
And keep the faith and forgive my sisters and my brother

One day that love will come from afar
And wipe out all this pain and the scars
Until then I will trust God to lead me the right way
And hold onto Faith for that special day

When Life Gets You Down

You say you can't take all the pain and heartache anymore
Give it to God and he will make you sail upon that shore
Nothing is too hard for the one who died for you
After all hasn't he already been there too

So many of us are stressed out and always on bended knees
When we should be praising God for hearing our pleas
God didn't make us weak and whimps in this war
He made us strong and victorious forevermore

We need to quit fighting for what is already ours
And let that Victory shine because we got the power
For Christ dwells within you and me
All we have to do is open our eyes and we can see

So When life gets you down don't let it keep you that way
Stay strong on your feet and never go astray
Trust in God no matter how bad the situation is
As he will come through for you because your one of his

Dont rescue me just love me
Cant you see my heart desires thee
When I look into your eyes
I wanna hold you till day I die

I dont need the moon or the stars
I just want you and your heart
You give me so much Peace
And each day my love for you increase

I have never felt this way before
You are one man I will never ignore
When I'm with you nothing compares
Because you have my heart and I truly care

How you do the things you do to me
Is beyond my imagination cant you see
I yearn for more of your love
I cant get enough it makes me soar like a dove

You have definitely given me so much
And with you I want to always feel your touch
Your tender kisses across the miles

I'm movin on from all I been through
Never gonna let you hurt me again or make me blue
You thought I would give in to your every whim
But this time baby you forgot I have my own Hymn

You always thought I would never leave 
Guess you wasn't as smart as you led yourself to be
I don't need you or your exes and sports you love
I want someone who will make my heart soar like a dove

I'm not perfect and never claim to be 
But neither are you and that you should see
You done me wrong so many times
