Living Water

Sore feet, long lists
Lost time, large bills
Just to find the perfect gift
That will probably break or be lost too soon
Christmas parties, gift exchanges
Choir concerts, ballet recitals
Is this all that Christmas is?
Or have we perhaps lost our focus?
And in the hours spent at the mall
Maybe we've forgotten why we celebrate
And maybe if we'd open our eyes
To what the songs are saying
We might realize
That the perfect gift
Doesn't come from a shopping mall
But is rather a lifelong impact
To provide Living Water
And save a life

Eirinn Go Brach

Oh Ireland make us proud
As we salute the tricolour
To defend thee we have vowed
May your rivers run free once more
Oh Ireland we love you
And we will not fail you
Ireland we will be true
We will set you free or die trying
We will stand strong and tall, oh Ireland
For you have been good to us
We will stand by you forever
For Éirinn go brách!

Unstoppable

Though sometimes unappreciated
And always underrated
We have created a family
Unlike any other
We are strong, fast, and powerful
We fly high and light
We are quick-footed
With jigs, wigs, and makeup
Glitter, fake tan, and sock glue
We are unstoppable

A Grey World

My eyes are opening now
Only to fill with tears
For I am waking up to a dark and lonely world
A world where the colors of your love are not present
The music of your touch is missing, too
And I walk alone in a silent and grey world
Where I will fade away into nothingness
And you will never know

I Saw You With Her

I saw you with her
And my world came crashing down
And all I fought to believe has been stolen
Because your heart belongs to
her
And all I'm left with is this curse
The curse of my reflection
The lies I worked hard to forget
Are all truth now
And I do all I can
To earn your attention
But am I really there at all?
Do you ever see me?
Do you know who I am?
I am destroying my body for you
Letting my body waste away, little by little
Just to win your affections
Because I need someone
Someone I can talk to
And I have this longing to be loved
And there's a part of me that is empty
Due to this longing
Due to the relationship I can't have
You stole my heart
And now you've broken it
Because I'm not your girlfriend
And she is

Passion

In my heart, I'm longing for more, begging for more
The fire is burning hot and bright
Passionate love that engulfs every fiber of my being
All I want is you here beside me
Touch me and hold me
Intense love that is not easily put out
But the words I use now
Could not possibly describe what I feel for you
Like a volcano, it begins deep down inside
Glowing red, heated by the depths of me
And I can't hold it in anymore
In a big explosion of color and heat
All is revealed and there's no going back
You know how I feel for you
I can't take it back, it's all out now
You can see right through me
I'm vulnerable to you now
You can take advantage of me if you want
But my prayer is that you'll just love me

A Lie

I wish I didn't have to lie
I wish I could say I'm okay
And it would be the truth
Or I could pour out my heart
And not receive judgmental stares
But instead I hide behind a smile
I pull down my long sleeves
I tell people I'm alright
I project an image of a happy person
I act like nothing's wrong with me
But really, everything is wrong
I'm dying inside
But nobody knows
Because my life is a lie

Your Heartbeat

I can hear your heartbeat
And it's the most beautiful sound ever
Because it is the proof that you are living and breathing
And as I lay my head against you
I know where I want to be forever
Because the warmth of your embrace
Is my absolute desire
And I would have it no other way
When you fix me under the intense gaze
Of your beautiful green eyes
I cannot resist
I find it hard to refuse you
And when you ask if I love you
I do not need to think
I do not even hesitate for a moment
When I say, "yes, I love you."

This World

You're so caught up in this world
Listening to the lies
Saying, "you need more
Go buy more stuff."
But when it's all said and done
When you've listened to the lies
Are you really any happier?
Are you finally content?
You are caught in the web of lies
Spun by the Devil
And you are losing
Everything you ever believed in
Everything you ever stood for
Come back to the Light!
Return to the way you know
Don't conform to the ways of this world.

Perfection

What is perfection?
Every lost pound is one step closer.
And yet every time I step on the scale, it's not enough
No matter how low the number goes, I'm never good enough
I'm striving so hard for perfection, but it seems unattainable
But I can't stop trying
I may never reach this goal, but I still need to try to achieve it
I cannot afford to make mistakes
And yet everything I do is a mistake
I am worthless
Maybe you'd be better off without me
Because I cannot achieve perfection
