Broken Heart

Broken Heart

Lost and broken
She now stares at the sky
A place she once knew
A place where she'd fly

Words soft spoken
She stares at her wings
Once Beautiful and strong
Left with no song to sing

Her tears are token
As she lowers her head
To hide the pain inside
Broken hearts dread

Self Awareness

You will never understand
how much I care for you.....

You will never understand
all the things I go through.....

You will never understand
why I do the things I do.....

You will never understand
that from your side I won't move.....

Yet I listen to you hurt me
Saying nothing, fall to my knees.....

Your voice inside my head,
fills my heart with dread.....

I am full from all your lies
and with each one we slowly die.....

We are one and we are the same
We are perfect no need to blame....

When they hurt you
they hurt me too.....

Please, why is it that can you not see
that I am not your enemy.....

Listen, hear my plea and hear my cry
Look at me with a tear in my eye.....

I am you and you are me
I want us to live happily.....

Look, what do you see in the mirror
the reflection couldn't be clearer.....

A beautiful girl with a small hidden smile
yellow green eyes and blond hair that goes for miles.....

You can love yourself
Say I love myself.....

My Biggest Fear

My biggest fear isnt that youll lie to me one day or that you'll cheat on me.

My biggest fear is that you'll wake up on Tuesday morning and instead of leaning in and kissing me on the cheek you'll look at my sleeping body and start to see all my flaws.

My crooked nose, my chapped lips, the stretch marks spreading along my stomach and thighs like a road map.

You'll think about my random spouts of jealousy and the fact that I talk too much.

You'll remember how annoying it is that no matter what I am always right and just how selfish I can be sometimes.

You'll walk into the kitchen and brew a cup of black coffee; and stare into the pale rays of sunlight and thats when you'll decide to leave.

Purposes

Two fawns
Twins
Siblings
Innocent and sweet
Headed to dangers unknown to them
A warning from a stranger
Mother arrives
Babies play at her feet
Mother knows best
Always
Toward the danger she leads
No fear
No doubt
Just instinct
In and out of danger she leads them
Confident
Alert
Determined
Lessons to be learned
The stranger holds their breath
It is then
At this moment
It is learned
Control is not theirs to be had
To be held
But to be relinquished
Two fawns
Twins
Siblings
Innocent and sweet
Learned where and what to eat
Learned how to live
Learned what lessons to give
To the strangers
That watch them
Day to day
Month to month
Season to season
Then
BANG
Purpose is met
Sustenance is formed
A family eats

Pure Love

Look at the horizon to view a vast sea.
Orange, yellow and red skies move slow and cling.
With a wind so crisp on the top of the knoll, oh , the smell of salty peace soothes ones
                                               soul.

The sun is setting and they come about; beginning to shout.
Small floating stars inside their jars; flash and sparkle, they are so small.
Navy blue reflects on calm fluid glass, the time moves slow, please do not pass.
Whales raise their flukes and spray the air, making the moonlight resemble and Angels'
                                               hair.

Animals begin to go to sleep, the whales move more into the deep.
Light blue and red fill the skies, almost as though the world is God's right eye.
The feeling of pure love lies with the sight of an ocean, a white dove and a ray of
                                              light.

Fire

Listen….
     Do you hear it?
          Look…..
               Do you see it?
                    Stop…..
                         Do you feel it?
This fire is so warm
     It keeps me calm
          While I wait…
                This fire protects me
                      From the pain
That seems to be my fate…..
You will come,
     Won’t you?
          Before I succumb….
               To the unknown
	     Of the wild
	          From being left alone….
Listen….
     Do you hear it?
          Look…..
               Do you see it?
                    Stop…..
                         Do you feel it?
How cold
     Now the fire is
I hear footsteps on the ground…
               Have you finally come
                    to find me?
Will I no longer be alone?...
With the wind in the trees
     Movement comes and goes
My mind is playing tricks on me…..
                   From the darkness in behind
                        I feel you coming close
	               Our hearts have realigned….
Listen….
     Do you hear it?
          Look…..
               Do you see it?
                    Stop…..
                         Do you feel it?
My lover has returned
     From his never ending fight
	His love unturned….
                   Embraced by his arm
                        His hand in mine
                             I am finally feeling warm…
Together we will tame
     The wild that surrounds
	Together never is the same….
                    We fight as one
	           Together not apart
	                Our new life has begun….
