Sir Phillip Mutugi Poem
Like a pine tree whisper,
Softly ministering to my soul,
Rhythmically speaking to my mind,
With clear minor chords do you ring,
Telling me of stories untold’
Revealing in me mysteries of your heart’
That unfathomable love you speak in action,
In bewilderment you leave me,
Circles in dark ends I search it,
This meaning of love do I figure,
To no avail do I render my efforts,
But in lime light you display it so clear to me,
To me you are a storybook,
As I long to view the next page,
Your skim of life a series,
Eagerly longing for the next episode,
Tell me ooh darling of my heart,
The next release do I wait ….

Sir Phillip Mutugi Poem
MY WORD
When I seemed far away,
From you and the silence swept us away,
When everyone felt that,
We are trampling down,
Distance crushing us into ashes,
My word stood strong,
Does history know where we started?
Does it even has a clue of where we are heading,
Now this fancy drawing it so much close,
Making me so naïve,
And you sobbing in disbelieve,
Coz my word still stands,
I know I said ail get the stars,
Yeah am the one who said ail bring you the moon,
These plain words still on my fingertips
Tell me why you have to worry,
Like I never meant it,
My word still stand,
Arise in love beyond fear,
Arise in confidence beyond doubt,
Look at future with gentle eyes,
Your confidence is evident in your elegance
And my word still stands,
