Saahil Parwez Poem
Teri Yaaden Mirch Ki Tarah Teekhi Hain
Jab Bhi Aati Aankhen Nam Kar Jaati Hain
Roz Main Tumko Cheeni Kha Ke Sochta Hun.

Saahil Parwez Poem
It was a dream
Indeed a dream!
You were leaning upon my arms
Walking along the grassy land
Not wanting it to end.
Your gazes with love
And your yielding eyes
I drank your beauty
It still spills upon my lips.
Your soft murmuring songs of love
Into my ears
Made me crazy
I am drunk with the feeling of your soul.
And then you embraced me
For the last time
And you were gone
I wept bitterly in my soul
For not knowing that
You are a dream
Possessed by all men
But happens to no one
You are indeed a dream!

Saahil Parwez Poem
The day and the night
A consequence of the rotational motion of the Earth
What is the difference, then?
Well, the day is for work
and the night for love.
The night is for love,
Love is to watch those countless stars
When the sky is more alive than in the day,
Love is to feel the moonlight
splashing upon the world,
Love is to listen to the silence of the night
When the whole world is fast asleep,
Love is to daydream in the middle of the night
While we are still awake,
Love is to feel these moments full of life
fleeting with a gentle touch.
And in reality
We are those endless summer stars.

Saahil Parwez Poem
They say, that
The sky is the limit;
To the imagination,
To the creativity,
To the dreams, one can see.
But, what I believe is
Far beyond limitations.
Our imaginations bear,
Not the slightest of
Time, space or dimension.
It's just the flow of water;
To which, ease of path,
Fear of resistance, tempest of hurdles,
Dryness of weather
Has no effect.
What matters to be alive;
The will to be alive.
And I say,
Open your heart
And feel the universe within!

Saahil Parwez Poem
Joy and Sorrow
Are the two companions
Acompny each other in life
For after sorrow comes joy.
Sorrow makes us near to God
And we feel that we are sacred
It is the test of life
That we can trust and love others
That we are but a single soul
Sorrow is indeed a joy
Which unites us all.
Where there is sorrow
There must be joy
And it makes us smile and feel
the zeal of life
Joy is actually the celebration
To victory over the hard times.
Joy and Sorrow
are two sisters live in unison
And we always have one of them
For they are the companion of life.

Saahil Parwez Poem
Heart, the most wounded part of the soul
Felt the darkest and wildest moment ever
Until the down of the pain of separation.
And then there entered the light of love
Unto the eyes within the heart
For love is not about grief and sorrow
Love is but the greatest force of attraction
Binds human and life together
And heals wounds within moments
For love is a fountain of youth, indeed.
Quote of Rumi -:
The wound is the place where the light enters you.

Saahil Parwez Poem
Ever I see you
Everything gets better of me
Conspires to make me live longer
Makes me feel that the world is
Naught but full of life
The moonlight spills splashes of love upon me
Your illuminated eyes
Bore deep into my soul
And makes me feel sacred
How could one spare the moment of your visit
Ever in dreams, too.
Whenever I see you
Just can't help
Falling in love with you
Again and again.

Saahil Parwez Poem
Separation and pain of separation
Happens to those
Who love with their eyes only
For love is not the unison of mere two bodies
Love is but unison of two souls
And men and women
Who love with their heart and soul
Never complain about pain and separation
For them the lover is always within them.
Quote of Rumi -:
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.

Saahil Parwez Poem
Two little streams flowing
through a river
Once met and spoke to
one another
One asked the other
about his path
And he answered that
His path was but encumbered
With the sin of the people
And it took him long
to reach there
"What about you, my friend?"
he asked the other
Delighted was he and answered that
His was a path among
fragrant flowers
Everyone drank from him
with silvery cups
Children played with him
with great laughter
Then the river said unto them
Forget about your wanderings
However sad or gay
For you are a part of me
And we belong to our mother, the Sea.

Saahil Parwez Poem
The river nearby my city
Flows as in charity,
Without indulging both the banks
Sometimes it scares people with its pranks.
Folktales says about that river
In the far past he was a man clever,
Upon a time he fallen in love
Like carrying messages always do a dove,
The girl from a higher tradition
Was unable to stand with his expectation,
One day he jumped off a bridge across a river
Without anyone noticing him gone forever,
After sometime he rose like a phoenix
Became a river and started to flow scenic.
