The Rose and Thorny Stem

My children are a beautiful rose
I am the thorny stem.

I was a young bride
with no home of my own
mistreated and forced to abide
I left my children behind....

Their fate was to be with out
always longing for our brief moments together
They always excepted me with out a doubt.

Destiny did not abandon them
it provided a firm bond between them
Now that I've come home to stay
The Lord has taken me away
In Heaven I will wait for them.

Madre mia, your mistaken
you may have seen yourself as a thorny stem
we saw you as our own precious jem
Your fiery and vibrant soul The Lord has taken
Our unforgettable memories of you can not be taken
we will hold on to them until we reunite again.

September Morning

My prayer was heard
you will hurt no more
The Lord took you the next morning.

My heart aches
my soul quakes
I lost you that sad September morning.

My eyes cry
I constantly sigh
since our last goodbye
I will forever be mourning.

I seek you in my dreams
holding me again
stay with me till morning.

Forever September

Yesterday’s September is gone…
Our love at first sight, our time together in
good times and bad…
Your strong embrace and true love
I will always remember…

Your faith so strong, anxious for nothing…
knowing your day was close at hand
You chose to be still and always thankful…
Wrapped in the peace of God forever…

You called out to Him, He heard the cry of your heart…
He gave you a spirit of power, love and self control
Your soul you fully did surrender…

The immense pain of your broken body...
Didn’t stop you from seeking and praising
our Merciful God
He looked your way, uplifted your spirit,
Your pain He did render…

He called you son, it’s time to come home…
But not before those you love are at
your side and you will make them all smile...
For you will soar on eagles wings
This beautiful day in September…

I held you tight as your last breath…
released your spirit beyond the sky
To see the face of God and His Splendor…
You are crowned a son of God
Wrapped in His peaceful light
Forever, September…

My Comfort

Can you see, can you feel
how much my heart aches for you?

As a child as an adult
until my last breath
my heart will call out for you.

In your many absences
in the darkness of night
when everyone slept
the cold wall was my comfort
without saying a word
she caressed my face
and wiped away tears shed for you.

When you were home I had comfort
and a mother to hold me
I didn't need to say a word
yet you always new that I needed you.

There is no one on this earth
that embraced me as you did
your fiery and vibrant soul
will forever be irreplaceable you.

Fear and Faith

Darkness is trying to entrap us...
Raging storms are trying to overtake us...
Fear is at the door waiting to come in and defeat us...

Darkness will flee at the sight of our Lords Glorious light...
Raging storms will disperse and bow to our Lords might...
Fear will not enter here our Lord Jesus Christ is embracing us tight...

A Road Called Miracle

I travel down this difficult road,
Carring this heavy load.

Life's journey I once roamed,
Until I married and made a home,

I travel down this road,
Filled with lesions all over my bones.

Life's taken my body from it's original form,
And now I constantly moan.

I will race down this road,
Until I touch my Lord'said robe.

Life's trials my God has directed,
Now I'm on this road called Miracle.

Beautiful Hummingbird

September morning came
my beautiful little hummingbird
you must have known something
terrible was about to occur
Your life was about to be cut short….

That night I was at your side
my crying I was trying to hide
Seeing you in a helpless state
I knew you wouldn't be able to take
A vibrant and fiery person so full of life
Always willing to give and not take…

September morning I could no longer sleep
The night before I prayed my Lord your soul to take
My spirit is restless and no one's awake
I went for a drive my heart was about to break…

September morning you were all alone
As I sat in the car feeling something was wrong
my soul is in despair I can't be strong
Lord wake her and her life prolong...

September morning as I look back
You were with me that morning I felt your embrace
Your place in my heart I will never replace
Seeking my memory for the image of your face...

September morning as we looked that special plot
suddenly a hummingbird hovered just above
giving us a sign this is were you will be laid to rest
Looking out my room all the hummingbirds hovered
offering comfort to a heart in darks cover…

September morning the Lord opened the gates
to a Beautiful Hummingbird like no other
This Beautiful Being is my Mother
never to be replaced by another.

If...

If ...
I could only see you in my dreams
holding me close again.
If...
I could only let go of my hearts pain
and go on with life once again.
If...
My hearts mourning I could finally contain
my love for you will always remain.

Words

Words we didn't want to hear,
that would bring us so much fear...

Words we didn't understand,
that would bring us so many tears...

Words that would cause us so much pain,
and cause us to fall in love again...

Words that would test our love,
and cause us our faith to maintain...

Words that are devastating are Multiple Myeloma,
Hear our pleas Lord and send us a miracle,
Heal my husband Lord and his life sustain...

Words were sent from up above,
a reply to many prayers and pleas,
Lord ease this strain...

Words our Lord sent to us,
I will watch you from up above,
and make your bones strong once again...

Words we pray to our Lord,
Bless all those we love and all who prayed,
come into their hearts and homes and there remain...

Words we pray to our Lord,
thank you my Lord for this miracle,
we pray for faith to all in pain...
