Far Away Land

They came from "farawayland"
to arms held open wide
welcomed without question by the "Man"

The starving and the homeless
can't begin to understand this
how could someone even do this to their clan

We try to feed and clothe them
give health and shelter freely
and we're just talking legal citizens

The influx of the immmigrants
and the millions of illegals
that have crossed our borders who knows even when

There are no jobs to give them
our health care's straining badly
some diseases that they bring could devastate

They try their best to hide here
while staying in the shadows
by scamming us they jeopardize our fate

Bleeding hearts help hide them
treated better than our Veterans
they snicker and they tell us that we're cruel

As our President stands proudly
ensuring he will protect them
America knows he plays us for the fool.....

Witness

A party store robbery last weekend
deadly for patron and clerk
Suspect ran out, waving his gun
bandanna just covered his smirk

Eye-witnesses? Almost a dozen
not one of them saw anything
Which way did he go? We really don't know
straight faced they won't say a thing

No one was fazed by the gun that was raised
they said they were facing the wall
All of them stand with a phone in their hand
but no one had bothered to call

Now there are two families mourning
the witnesses should be ashamed
Now will they do right, and help the law fight
or be the next patron that's "slain"

Its a tough one for many to answer
they stay out and don't get involved
They're usually the first ones complaining
that another crime didn't get solved

Remember who you, turn your back on
it's easy to say "don't ask me"
So don't think that it's pride when you must decide
and who will you call? We shall see...

The Invisible Chest

I made an Invisible Chest for my home
And I filled it with all of my Dreams
Then added some Prayers, for less fortunate ones
To help them down Lifes many Streams

Tossed in some Hope, and a Bundle of Love
And Kindness, to spread everywhere
Then carefully placed it, where Sunshine could reach
Right next to an old rocking chair

I had not quite finished, Filling it up
When a Voice somewhere, deep down inside
Said, "Leave the lid open, there's plenty of room"
"To put in the Manual, and Guide".....

Sharing and Caring

Sometime's it's very hard to write
what isn't in your heart
You really can't just make things up
it's truly not your part

Look around you every day
there's turmoil and dispair
There's also love and happiness
enough that you can share

Now reach across and help someone
with voice or with your hand
Add a smile or friendly nod
they're sure to understand

One day they may, return the same
or pass it on somewhere
In crisis or in heartache
when sadness fills the air

So light the fire inside someone
they'll pass it down the line
You'll see that smiles are everywhere
the day will turn out fine.....

Coal Mine

They were working in a coal mine
six miles below the ground
We hit a pocket someone yelled
then the walls came tumbling down

They could not see through all that dust
as they scrambled to get out
The shaft was sealed with tons of rock
"we're trapped" came someones shout

Within three hours the dust was gone
thank god no one was hurt
They sat there staring endlessly
at those tons of rock and dirt

We're here for good a man cried out
"start praying" someone said
Don't give up, there's always hope
no matter what you dread

A miner took a shovel and pick
and headed down the shaft
You're going deeper someone yelled
"I know, I feel a draft"

They heard him digging in the dark
the lanterns growing dim
Then someone yelled, as a brilliant light
shone blindly right past him

Some miners yelled and others cried
"my god this can't be true"
For there alone was a world beyond
the wall that man broke through......

Milk and Honey

The land of milk and honey
now only in your dreams
Was stolen by the masses
who think it's free, it seems
They say it's just a "band-aid"
till "we get on our feet"
But first we must, meet their demands
or they protest in the street

The protests turn to riots
the looting now begins
Destroying all that milk and honey
getting back at us for "sins
We should have listened to their cries
how could we, turn away
They only want what they deserve
and now we'll have to pay

Illegals come to help them
their bread and butter card
Immigrants are joining in
we made their life so hard
The bridge cards that we gave them
they call them plastic gold
The government won't rescind them
they'd rather they be sold

You walk away still wondering
how they're used for smokes and beer
And other things that are taboo
unchanged year after year
Excuse replaced integrity
with the never ending lies
It can not stop, there is no end
The storm that never dies.....

Bridging the Gap

Bridge cards aren't for everyone
just those who have real need
Not meant for all those college "kids"
that party and smoke "weed"

Not meant for all those shacking up
with a "daddy" in the house
His room and board? It's on our dime
he's a government sponsored louse

Not meant for all those gambling addicts
ponies, cards and slots
Nor tires and wheels for pimp mobiles
making haves, out of (have nots)

Not meant for big screen TV sets
oops that's right, they are
X-box set with all the games
you're treated like a star

It's all measured, by the masses
and how we live, (I guess)
Even cars just ten years old
are causing too much stress

Not knocking those that really need
just those that "win and play"
making us, taxpayer fools
while they enjoy their day

When the wage, hits fifteen plus
they won't give up their checks
That "nagging injury" that they have
has made their life complex.....

We the People

Divide us? You try
The forces that be
Creating turmoil and strife

Not even attempting
At making amends
For disruption of every ones life

Divide us? You try
The forces that be
Creating more suffering and pain

Turning a blind eye
Feign the unknowing
Your efforts are all done in vain

Divide us? You try
The forces that be
There is no mistaking your aim

The masses are waking
They're going to resist
When they win it won't be the same.....

Un-Welcome To America

He welcomed them with open arms
and now their flowing in
No ID, Health screen, Background checks
and they're bringing all their "kin"

Two to three day holding stage
then send them on their way
Give them Future Hearing dates
they "Vanish" in a day

     Divided United

Quietly they're "shipped around"
on (Contract charter fare)
States aren't told, (they sneak them in)
there's sickness in the air

Measles, TB, Viruses
Spreading all around
Whooping cough and Rampant Lice
just some of what's been found

Bringing those with Criminal pasts
What crimes? They will not say
We checked them all, and they are clean
"Trust us, they're okay"

Clearing Stations, Holding Centers
Food and Clothing Free
Did we open Doomsday Gates
and we're too blind to see?

In the Southwest border towns
north of Rio Grand
The Residents and Land Owners
not allowed to make a stand

But "Uncle Sam" with kind, kind heart
knows how to treat our "Guests"
Give them all a "Welfare Check"
since (BHO) knows best

This doesn't faze our Government
they're blind to what is true
no matter what the "Voters" want
they don't see "Red, White, Blue"

Begging For Apologies

What are people waiting for? They're yelling, can you hear?
They're wanting an apology, I'm offended that is clear
I'm nor inferring anything, to make my point to you
Some people turn a blind eye, and at times a deaf ear too
You really must be thinking, why care about the Vet
You think the more important point, what immigrants should get

Forget about the homeless Vets, (they helped to make you free)
Fight for rights of immigrants, they want it all, you'll see
No, we're not talking all of them, but take a look around
I mean throughout the USA, assimilation can't be found
They're ethnic tight communities, you wouldn't dare move there
Our Government's not mandating, they open up and share

It really took us quite a while to share with everyone
and after many years of strife, it finally has been done
Discrimination ads are airing, Government plans today
each and every block must mix, throughout the USA
Forget the Middle-Easterners , their communities stay intact
they need not ever mix with us, our Government speaks, that's fact

They scream "Islamic-phobia" what right have we to judge
like other groups from years now past, some will hold a grudge
The danger comes as time goes by, their conscience guides their way
they feel compelled to wage their war, so expect them any day
Don't even try to change their mind, their path is carved in stone
our way of life they can't accept, our peace they won't condone.....
