Samia Mehbub Poem
I let a candy - cane striped tooth come out of my head
The size of a sword, I let fear get out of me this time instead
This can extend longer, I can sense if you come near me, baby
No need to migrate, when I got you by my side, come to me
We can be here five months if you dare
Let's let it all go, for each other we must care
Under the Baffin-Bay Davis Strait
Underwater collisions, can't hear, getting late
Can't you see the threats we have to face everyday?
Pollution is what is making it hard to see you, my bay?
Gimme some polar cod, squid, and shrimp
I'll take you half a mile in the water, pimp
hmm, hmm, hmm?
mmmm, mmm, mmm
Time to change colors because I'm aging
Blue and black now, let's go dancing

Samia Mehbub Poem
I can't help but smile at the thought I'll be seeing you
Butterflies rise up in my stomach, possibly a whole zoo
You don't even know, how many times you crossed my mind
Walking to get a drink of water, I glare at you side by side
The dimples that rise in your cheeks, whenever your smiling
They deepen and flush into a mixture of pink clouds, blending
In class during tests, you sit right behind me and my hearts beating
Trying to act normal, and once it's done, I turn around and our eyes met
Quickly looking at the trophies of the shelves, pretending to look around
Your eyes were a bit moisty, you seemed so caring
And did I tell you that they're my favorite iris, and color of all times?
I felt so lost, I hope you know how much you're worth
It took me seven months to realize, all the snap shots in my mind
I can't help, but sit on the floor with the chair, from all of this and hide
The moment you gave the sweetest compliments
Well, your voice was like the whisper of the wind
Calm like the baby blue skies, clear
Sweet, like the simple things, hello
Going down the stairs, I see you catching up
But I hurry, embarrassed, walk slowly and pacefully
One step at a time, I wait for the special walk
And there you go, you take the opposite direction
I remember every single word you said
They're all in my mind, all in my head
You surprised me, by the weird things you say
Told me to wait, just wait and expected a hug
I remember the first one, and I couldn't reach you
You were whispering in class to your friend
Looking down, hair covered your face
You glared, and I shied away, in grace
is this that word, that rhymes with rush?
Starts with a c, and says "hush?"
It's raining, what to do
Time is passing, im fond of you
Hope it doesn't take too long
Oh no, it sounds like a song
hopefully this will all go away
it is wasting my time to stay
Was this skinny love
Or maybe just a dove?

Samia Mehbub Poem
"Spiderfinger," she screams as her hands clutch my arm
Black nails, creeping behind me, and daunting me of harm
Shadows chasing me from this candle light, glowing
Long nails, fingers intertwining around me, clawing
As this heart goes, a thump - thump- ping
Wrapping me around this cobweb, wrapping
"Spiderfinger," She whispers, whispers to me
This pointy sword stabs me, as I am bleed-bleeding
Cloudy sky, eerie wings, branches shake - shaking
Head is going dizzy, as this "spiderfinger" spinning
You, limbering behind me, oh no, spider- you
Shadows creeping, shadows, oh no, it's true
Shining smile captures me whole, fangs so alarming
As she lays her eggs, darkness swipes me, coming near, coming
she is caressing me under her arms, caressing
Spinning me around, my body is itching, itching
As those jaws drool on my toes, I no longer no
If I'll come out alive, but here is one last hello
Let me give you one last whisper, darling
I loved you before we even met, heart aching

Samia Mehbub Poem
Eerie winds sending shivers down my spine
As the clouds cover the moon
You say, I will come back soon
You say, I will come back soon
1,2,3 as I walk down the street, I believe that these pumpkins glow so fine
Midnight black not a glimpse of stars, for this foggy night
Witches on brooms, yell if you dare
You whisper, I will be there
You whisper, I will be there
Walking past gothic mansions, with dark windows, haunting my sight
My skeleton will remain inside this body forever
As I slowly rise out of this tomb to look for you
Little owl, keeps asking, who? Who?
Little owl, keeps asking, who? Who?
My soul is the shadow walking on your door, once more
Finding my way as I am entangled in this cobweb, boo!
These ghosts with powdered faces and long fingers, come creeping
As the Gothicly gruesome dungeons bells go ringing, ringing
Dungeons bells go ringing, ringing
As I walk, the glass shatters, the houses are spooky too
