Tangled cocoon heavy within this shell
I can feel the falling whispers outside
it calls and I listen, perhaps too well
the door is opened I can not hide

And she pulls me out with Sirens song
the air heavy with her luring grace
I know my quiet wall will not last long
As she lays her lips up on my face

we embrace, she softly surrounds me
in her grasp I feel more alive than ever
The air gently sighs "I'll set you free"
I agree, though it wont last forever

Her touch begins to fade with the sun
and my moment in the rain is done

Bliss

A summer lie becomes the winter pang, bitter and cold
now all I have left is shadows to hold

All those tomorrows promised while you sang, simply fools gold
even coming spring feels broken and old.

So come whisper to me those wonderful wicked words,
weave them thick and warm.
I'll wrap myself within them, pretend there is no storm.

So come and serenade me with those sweet honey'd lies
drip them on my tongue
I'll gorge myself upon it and slowly come undone

When the august sunset bowed out for chilly autumn rain
Frantic, I reached for someone gone again

All those tomorrows seen as we waltzed, am I to blame?
idyllic plans well laid were all in vain

So come and truth-blind me with your silken sleight of hand
engulf me in dark
Lost within the inky sea and in love with the shark

So come and drink in my essence, shattered in your gale
fuse me as needed
Blissfully refute all the advice I once heeded.

Camouflaged in my sight as something worth my naive soul
Was it something I gave or was it stole?

So come and find my frostbit shell as I dream of life
awake me my prince
Paint lovely fiction, i am easy to convince

Make me blind to who you are
make me blind to who you are
make me blind to who you are
make me blind....
