To Love a Child

To Love a child
To love a child you must hear what they have to say
To love a child you must really love them
You must spend time with them
To love a child you must see what they have to say
To love a child do not go over their words for someone elses
To love a child spend time with them when you are alive
not when you are almost dead
To love a child don't do nothing you will go to jail for
because without your child you have no life

Liar

LIAR

A liar of the soul
has no control

For he lies to himself
So how do you expect him to be truthful to someone else

He lies with his eyes and ever breath that he takes
Only cares for himself in ever decision that he makes

He was a friend of mine and I believed him to be true
He spat out his poison as all liars do

I can still taste it upon my lips
As my trust slowly dies
Once here lived Faith now she's buried in lies

And all that come behind me, I warn you from my grave
Faith is dead but Hope she can be saved

So if this liar approaches you take Hope and run
Hide her inside your soul until this liars done

Take Hope and run or you shall be damned
in a world of betrayal and lies like I am

A dedication to you

We Were One

We Were One
You Kissed me and you became a part of me
You held me and you became who I am

We are one
We are whole

You are mines and I am yours
We belong to no other

You eat and my hungry is fed
I drink and I quinch your thirst

You breath
and my heart beats

You are mines and I am yours
We belong to no other

You cry
and I feel the tears upon my cheeks

Your body inside of mines
a gift you gave no other

You are mines and I am yours
We belong to no other

You kissed her and you became a part of her
You held her and you became who she was

We were one
We were whole

You were mines and I was yours
And we belonged to no other

I cry
and you don't feel the tears upon your cheeks

Your body inside of mines
a gift you gave another

We were one
and now there's three

You are hers and she is yours
And you belong to another

And after all is said and done
You are two
and I am one

When the Love Is Gone

Before I met you this emptiness lived inside of me
Nothing lived here, there was to much space
Emptiness dwelled inside of me refusing to leave me alone
So emptiness unpacked it's bags and crawled inside of me and found a place
called
home

It made to much noise
Refused to pay the rent
Was late on paying the bills
Got the lights cut off
There was no gas
So my heart grew cold

Than I met you
And emptiness got bored
Packed it's bags and left
Left no forwarding address, where it could be reached

And love was passing by
Had no place to go
No place to call home
And one evening it knocked
And the door was open
Because emptiness forgot to lock it

So love came in
Saw what it could see
Unpacked it's bags and it possessed me
It filled me up
Until there was no space for nothing else

It threw wild parties
Never turned off the lights
Kept the neighbors up at night

It told bad jokes
It made me laugh
I never felt cold
It kept me warm
Always a smile on my face
It reached inside of me with all that it had and it made me feel safe

For I knew love was with me forever and would never leave
And than you left
And one morning I awoke and found love not laying beside me
It stayed out all night
Didn't even call
I searched and searched and could not find it
I wondered where it was and why did it leave
Damn it, why did it leave without telling me

Days passed and love was no where to be found
The bills were over due
I felt so all alone
Love didn't come home
like it always did

One day love appeared
Never said where it had been
From that moment I knew something had changed
It went to bed early
Turned off all the lights
Didn't keep me up at night

Didn't even smile
Days passed by and inside of me got quite
I couldn't feel a thing
I was still inside

I went to visit love
Because it hadn't been by
I knocked on the door
And the door opened
So I went inside
The lights weren't on
All the furniture was gone

I looked inside of me
and saw emptiness forwarding address
laying next to my heart

No more need for me to explore
For I knew from that moment as I walked through the door
Just like you
Love didn’t live here anymore

It didn’t call
Won’t answer the phone
So am asking you
What do you do, when the Love is gone

A Gift From God

She came in the middle of the night
an angel sent by God
From the moment that I saw her she touched my heart

A gift sent from heaven just for me
The most beautiful thing that I'll ever see

She is my child and I love her so
And I thank God for everyday that I watch her grow

When she said her first words
all the glory I heard

When she took her first steps
until there were no more left

I never thought she would run
once her walking was done

My baby girl is growing each day
and the day will come when she will go away

And I will cry and remember that night, when all is done
The night that, my baby girl, Jade was born

A dedication to you

What You Gonna Do

Why are you sitting by the phone
Looking out the window
Waiting for him to come home

Woman, why are you crying
Looking in his eyes
When you know he's lying

Said he was out all night with a friend
Said that he loved you
and he won't do it again

You lay down by his side
Fooling yourself saying he's got nothing to hide

He makes love to you with passion in his eyes
You can look in them and tell he's living a lie

He puts all his loving inside of you
He closes his eyes, like he always do

Cause that way you won't see the truth
That he's loving another instead of you

She's living in his head
He's making love to you
but thinking about her in your bed

Trying not to scream out her name
And you can feel it, it's a damn shame

He explodes inside of you
Don't look your way
rolls on his side like he always do

And your left feeling empty
and lonely inside

But you don't speak a word
You don't repeat what your eyes have heard

You start to cry
Because the truth is in his eyes

Woman what you gonna to do
When the truth is standing right in front of you

You can be a good wife
and live forever in his lies

Cook his dinner and raise his kids
Ignore that other woman like you always did

Calling your phone in the middle of the night
What's done in the dark will soon come to light

But my question to you
Woman, what you gonna do

You can be a good wife
and live forever in his lies

Let the years pass you by
With her by his side

Woman, what you gonna do
When all the memories catch up with you

And their living in your head
And you start to remember, all the things that he said

And they start to haunt you
As so many ghosts do

Woman, what you gonna do
With all these memories, inside of you

Will you be a good wife
and live forever in his lies

What you gonna do
When the truth is standing right in front of you

When she's having his baby
And he's standing in front of you
telling you she's his lady

And all the years you gave to him they are gone
And just like ten years ago
Your standing by that window all alone

I ask only one question of you
Woman
What you gonna do?
