Wounds

These I cannot hide
Clothes do not help
For they are not seen
The bruises beyond the skin
Under the bones
Within my head
Deep in the heart
Where they lay
So I may remember everyday
Some from sight
Some from sound
I did it for you
Miss. USA

The Moon

She is always there
When I need her
Day or night
I can see her
She keeps her distance
To give me space
I can look to her
For help at anytime
She helps me through anything
She is my everything
The one who is there for me
At night she shine bright
That is how I know that this is right
She has the stars in the sky
To be there for her
In the morning she fades away
But if you look close
She is near
And you will see
There is nothing to fear

Untitled

There is something out there
It knows my wants
It knows my needs
Without knowing
It calls me to my knees
It is all around me
I cannot run
I cannot hide
There is nothing I can do
Because it wants me
And I need it
Everyone feels this sometime
For now it is my time
My friends found it
My family lost it
But I shall keep it
And that is what
Will set me free

The Way I Feel

I thought it was nothing
But now I know
Just how much I care
You are my friend
I don't want to lose you
You can scream
You can yell
It will not change a thing
I still care for you
Like I always will
You are my friend
No matter what you think
Or what you feel
I am here for you
Yes, you made me cry
Yes, you made me angry
But still I will care for you
No matter what
I don't want to scare you away
Or make you run
I just wanted to let you know
How I feel
