Ilahtpan Napthali Poem
To see with eyes unclouded.
To feel with the hearts mind.
To reason without bias.
To show love as a serene sunset,
casting warmth on all.
To listen to all, even to the grass
as it grows.
As a radiance of voices and tones.

Ilahtpan Napthali Poem
as open as the plains of Africa,
seeing the wonders of
creation.
a child's mind,
to see and learn.
open as a well,
a water hole for all to drink.
as open as a tear duct,
a heavy heart washed clean.
as open as one can,
to tolerance and over standing
is to open the mind,
to knowledge and wisdom.
therefore,
open your heart,
to love,
and be loved,
and by opening your hand to friendship,
a friend,
you, might
find,
opening the door to possibilities and probabilities,
and
more likely,
freedom.
ultimately,
finding peace of mind is your goal - this you
should strive for…
be open…

Ilahtpan Napthali Poem
Liken to a rift that rips the landscape from under our feet.
Similar to isms or schisms separating the collective,
literally destroying the bond and togetherness that keeps the family as one.
The same unity which should bounds us by blood,
which should give us a sense of being; something so far, so elusive.
All sense of togetherness is all but non-existent leaving a
desolate and barren landscape,
rich once as land surrounding river Babylon.
Only if our hearts and our minds were thus…

Ilahtpan Napthali Poem
Tears flow like rain drops
at the onset of a storm.
Each drop welling,
bulging, before tumbling
down each cheek,
as rain drops off a leaf,
dribbling, cascading down,
intermittent but steady,
other times with the fury
of the Niagara.
Tears helps wash away
a heavy heart,
cleansing our woes,
as the pain,
as does it herald
happiness and joy
that fills our heart
as the dawn sun
casting its rays,
infectious, and contagious,
as the laughter
that proceeds our tears.

Ilahtpan Napthali Poem
Wary as one is, but merry nonetheless.
Heavy, once, my heart was but now all is cheery.
I know I have the cherry, though I shall
not tarry too long.
