Day In the Life of a Soldier

I hear the all too familar sound, Another day fighting, Another step closer to dying, Shoot or be shot, Live or fight for every last breath, The choice is difficult, But it is ours to make every day out here. I look around, I see my brothers in arms falling, They are stained red, As if to prove the war is neverending, Each day is a fight, Giving up isn't a choice any longer, We must avenge the fallen. I look across to the enemy, They are taking our numbers quickly, Time to do some damage to them, I run out shooting a gun in each hand, They will not kill another one of my brothers, Not before they get some damage done to them. When the fighting is all done, Our countries will call us all heroes, The ones who are alive, As well as the ones no longer with us. Both sides will be heroes in someone's eyes, All of us have loved ones, None deserve to die.

Live a Life Full of Love

Love can be a Blessing, or it can be a Curse. Either way I would much rather live with Love.

Abuse Runs In Families

As I lay here wondering, Why you did all those horrible things to me, I slowly begin to realize, That these things tend to run in family's, I'm sorry that your parents did this to you. That still does not make this right, So please face your own demons, Without forcing them to become mine. Blood is thicker than water, Yes that is true, As is hate a stronger emotion, Than love that I thought I had been learning from you. I have found that trusting people is all too hard, I blame that much on all of you, Because the people I thought I could trust, When it came to my innocence and safety, Turned out to be deceit, horror, and corruption. So thanks for opening my eyes, To how crooked the world can be, Just know this in solace, That I will not continue this corrupt legacy.
