Sweet William

Different flowers,
White, blue, pink and red.
They all receive rain showers
And grow astoundingly on flower bed

Charming rose buds
Coming from different bulbs.
Charming blossoms,
Hiding the bareness of the soil.
Competing with their beauty.

Carnations, sweet peas, lotuses,
Lilies, daffodils, poppies and
Daisies. Oh! what a sweet smell!
From the isle of sweet William.

Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Flag

Unfamiliar flag,
It's up and down
Today I saw it
Weeping on its knees.
Murmuring students
Hold tears, someone
Else is dead again
The university mourns.
Death, why in our abundance
Is your harvest so rich?

I Love You

When I think about you
My heart pumps
And tremble trough
The deepest humps

When I see your face
My heart brightens
And my face lightens

When I close my eyes
All I can see is your face
When I'm in my deep sleep
All I dream is you
My love is as pure as Gold for you

My Birthday Present

Can I have you as my present
Because you have a good accent
Your beauty is more than a cent
And I love your brilliantine scent
.
First time we met, we became friends
Because I was attracted by the way you love
It was my first time to have a girlfriend
Now we always together like hand in glove
.
The reason I befriended you
Is that I'm a poet and you're a poetess
I placed you in my heart like a tattoo
Because there is one thing I knew
That tattoos are not easy to unglue
.
Oh how I wish to have a poetess as my present
Oh how I wish to have a friend
Like you in my birthday at the year end
Our friendship stands no end
Because in my life, you're a good scent

Forever Mine

I don't care what tomorrow may bring
It may be darkness, sunshine or rain
I know, I love you more than everything
And all of my worry is vain.

Though blizzards and arduousness may arise
Shadowing the brightness of our life
We'll never be frightened by the dark skies.

No matter what evils betide
Why should we care? Because tempest will blow
We'll freely go together through,
Holding you close by my side

Because you're forever mine...!!!

For Aunt Daphne

Sorrow be still within your heart;
Let not your grief devour.
I would not have you hurt at all
for a day or even an hour.

If I had a wish, but just one wish
I would think of you and say,
Remember me not in this darkest gloom,
but as I was yesterday.

Remember the journey that we shared
and all the good days that have passed.
Take all the smiles and the laughs and hugs,
Tuck them away and make them last.

Remember holidays and Sunday afternoons
and hamburgers on the grill;
dressing and cobblers and Christmas Eves,
remember that and I’ll be with you still.

Remember the times I complained or fussed,
but remember my heart is true.
Sometimes there was anger, pain and strife,
but remember I always loved you.

My children were my world, you see,
and then my grandchildren, too.
The legacy that I’m leaving behind
is evident in all of you.

Remember the stories I’ve told and retold;
Bring them up every now and then.
Share them with your kids and theirs
and let not my legacy end.

May sunshine light upon your face,
May your troubles be few and thin,
May laughter and smiles fill your every breath,
And remember I’ll see you again.

Chameleon

You are one hell of a Lizard
Now you cool,
Before I know it you are a Blizzard
You take me for a fool,
You think I don’t see your many colors
Why can’t you keep one
Or perhaps you haven’t found one

One minute you nice
The next you turn to a lice
The third you running around like thousand mice
Let me roll the dice
Turns out you just a chameleon,
Trying to act like a stallion

Green or blue
I wish I knew
Your lips I wish to sew
You are unpredictable
From I love you
To I don’t want you
You make me sick
And by your side,I’ll no longer stick
I am done
Chameleons freak me out
And in this relationship I am out
