Summer

When the final school bell rings,
And "summer" is being chanted.
When the water gets warmer,
And the sun shines brighter,
Skin darker,
And hair lighter. 

When the there's no a worry on your mind, Instead, thought of adventure.
When music gets louder, 
And watermelon sweeter.
Polaroid taking, 
Memory making. 

Then the nights get longer,
And every second is so surreal. 
But just to think,
When summer comes to an end, 
You wait another year, 
To do it all over again.
