You Are So Amazingly Beautiful

You are so amazingly beautiful
You are my one true love
You are my soul mate
As an Angel to me you are
made from pure love.

I love you with all my heart
I love you with all my soul
You are a part of my being
And everyday I am seeing

That you are my wonderful man
You are everything to me
I hope you will have me forever, spending
Till the end of time with me.

I Am Different

I am different, that is true
Like the opposite color orange on the color spectrum is blue.

The rainbow no matter what color you are, you fit in, whether your straight or gay it's time to begin,

To begin to accept that we need to get along, like a poets writing can become a beautiful song.

The hate, Black...... As dark as night, it does not fit in, it shines no light.

Stop the hate, nothing in darkness can grow, no love or peace, just sadness and sorrow.

Living in peace, loving one another you see, is how we begin, branching out like a tree.

And if we can spread "acceptance"of all, like the branches of that tree, no matter how far, no matter how tall

The branches of that tree you see, will reach to that rainbow where we all should be,

together in harmony, the colors how bright, we are all a part and can shine that beautiful light.

Pride

Pride is that feeling
That feeling deep inside
When you can be proud of who you are
Having nothing to hide

Being gay is a challenge
The names you are called can cut like a knife
The judgement bestowed upon you
Can sometime feel as if it's ruining your life

Can't we just all get along
Accepting one another
For who we are
Not letting hate push us back far

Letting our differences clash
We are not the same
We have a different sexual orientation
We see and experience life looking through a different frame

Religion is sometimes a factor
It can divide us you see
We are all God's children
Can't we just let one another be

Be in peace, loving one another, loving all
Standing up tall for what I believe
Love and acceptance is all I want to receive

Not having to lie, not having to hide
Not having to ride alone on the back seat
of life
On that long bumpy ride

Being who we were born to be
Being genuine, being real, being free

I am me
I have Pride
To be proud of who I am
Deep down inside
