Love Sleeps

I watch as you sleep,
You are so unreal,
I cannot understand,
This thing that I feel.

I gaze out the window,
It is raining, My love,
And I am most certain,
You were sent from above.

I lie down beside you,
I can feel your breath,
Believe I will love you,
Even in death.

With my head on your chest,
I can hear your heart beat,
In this sweet contentment,
I join you in sleep.

A Love Like No Other

I never felt a love,
Like this before,
It's a love like no other,
Something I have always hoped for.

A love with friendship,
Humour and heart,
A bond so strong,
It would never part.

A love that makes you smile,
From ear to ear,
A love that is joyful,
Without any fear.

A love that is beautiful,
From the inside out,
A love with no tears,
Pain, or doubt.

A love with soul,
So tender and true,
A love that I have found,
ONLY IN YOU...

Untitled

A gentle word like a spark of light,
Illuminates my soul,
And as each sound goes deeper,
It's YOU that makes me whole.

There is no corner, no dark place,
YOUR LOVE cannot fill,
And if the world starts causing waves,
It's your devotion that makes them still.

And yes you always speak to me,
In sweet honesty and truth,
Your caring heart keeps out the rain,
YOUR LOVE, the ultimate roof.

So thank you my love for being there,
For supporting me, my life,
I'll do the same for you, you know,
My Beautiful, Darling Wife.

The Golden Path

Take my hand, this way we'll go,
Said the man above,
I'll take you to a place of joy,
Where you will find true love.

If you let go, go on your own,
But mistakes you will make,
For many other ways there are,
Which you are sure to take.

When you feel that you are lost,
All you have to do is pray,
And I'll be there once again,
To help you on your way.

I did pray and just as said,
He shined his light from above,
That showed me the way down the golden path,
That led me to your love.

Passion's Flames

A touch, soft and tender,
A whisper, full of desire,
A gasp of sweet surrender,
As passion fuels the fire.

No words spoken between them,
No promises to be kept,
No lies being told tonight,
No looking back--no regrets.

Longing to hold each other,
Such precious little time,
Both vowed to another,
Being lonely their only crime.

Tomorrow bringing sorrow,
A brief moment of shame,
With the memory of this one night,
A release from passion's flame.

Can We Still Be Friends

I was cold and hurting,
Lost out in the night,
Wandering and searching,
For Heaven's light...

I saw the night sky clearing,
When you spread your rainbow wings,
But little did I know,
What joy you would bring?

From that moment on,
A friendship did start,
You kissed away my tears,
And sheltered my heart...

I bless the day God,
Sent him from above,
But then I grew fearful,
For I had fallen in love...

I told you this feeling,
And what did you say?,
You said you liked our friendship,
And that's how it would stay...

I cried for a friendship I though was lost,
But then felt your warm gentle hand,
You then whispered in my ear,
That by my side you'll forever stand...

"mother, My Mother"

There is but one Mother, My Mother
So Pure, so Perfect, there could be no other
I cannot bear the thought of ever losing you
For all, and I mean All, that you do

You are so Essential to my life
Stand by to Calm all my Strife
To this End, you make every Sacrifice
There is no one else So Beautiful, So Nice

All the Archangels will Never reach your Height
For here on earth, all the Battles you do Fight
You are always, I repeat Always at my side
You are forever present as my guide

The Rose is only a Beauty, just a Glimmer
Of the Magnificence of your inner Core
The thorns on your otherwise fragile Stalk
Represent the Hurt that you so often Balk

You are my Mom You gave me the World
And as the Years go by, I too grow old
I know your Sacrifices, to Assure that I am well
My Love and Appreciation No words could ever tell

I Ask Myself

You say you don't love me,
You act as if you don't care,
How do you really feel about me?
I ask myself?

You just walk by me everyday,
You don't speak a word to me,
How do I cope with this?
I ask myself?

You smile at other girls,
You look right through me,
How do I make myself noticeable?
I ask myself?

Finally, you look at me,
Strange, but I feel nothing,
Why? Why?
I ask myself?

Until There Was You!

Until there was you,
I walked the earth alone,
No hand to hold in mine,
My heart was all my own.

Until there was you,
True love was just a dream,
Dreams of wonder and tears,
Dreams of hope and fears.

Until there was you,
My life had no direction,
A road of uncertainty,
But now we have a journey,
Together you and me.

So I thank my lucky stars,
And God from the heavens above,
For my heart and soul could never,
Feel the impact of true love,
Until there was you...

If Only You Could See!

This isn't supposed to be happening,
I can't believe it's true,
Even though it may sound silly,
I can't help falling in love with you.

You have the body of a God,
Enchanting green eyes,
And the perfect brown hair,
Just the sight of you makes me weak.

If only you could see me,
The same way I see you,
We could be together forever,
In a paradise for just us two.

When I look into your eyes,
I see the heaven that I long to be part of,
As I would be in a state of joy and comfort,
I want you to know, I love you with all my heart,
If only you could see.
