Things Fall Apart

i wake up every morning
 questioning my entire existence
they say i must be persistent
but i ask myself is god really present or absent
you folks say to make it i have to be obedient

Things fall apart
 friends became enemies
gravity seems to be my worst enemy
all my plans seems to be rearranged
things i wanted to establish and accomplish
 have perished and vanish
they say the world is round
and yet i think is a square
so many hurts we get from
 corners here and there

Things fall apart
the sky is covered with a dark cloud
i try to speak but my voice is not loud
i tried to blend in the crowd
 but i always standout
all my brothers are school dropouts
my sister works as a checkout girl
they said heavens gate was built to keep me out
moments like this i ask God's whereabouts

Things fall apart
Just as we say things are getting better
sweeter and tastier, they turn sour and bitter
the sky just fall in the middle of a storm
 the trees are unfruitful
 the rivers are dry
our crops in the field are devoured before harvest time

my eyes are all red and swollen
 from the tears that shed
my mothers knees are red from
kneeling down and praying for a miracle
her knuckles are frozen from knocking on heavens door
her voice is all cranky from shouting
 hoping god can hear her

Things fall apart
 mom lost her job
 daddy got retrenched at his
grandma has a disease that has no cure
 soon she will departure
 to the heavens above
 relatives have turned into strangers
rags and shreds cover my body
 my little sister singing
is my rhapsody of reality
as we stand firm together in unity.

Naked Truth

Naked truth

daddy please tell mommy

the naked truth

you promised her heaven and earth

and you gave her hell

in her heart you dwell

all I ask from you is to tell

that the love you shared have fell

tell her the naked truth

she sit and tries to solve the puzzle

stuck with a bundle of life troubles

as you and your mistress cuddle and chuckle

at our lives struggle

life is a jungle

us and mommy we will stay humble

you vowed to love her for better or worse

till death due you apart

but late night you depart

and leave us in a fright

in the morning you return to pick up a fight

that mommy always looses

the neighbors' are witnesses

of the love you share with your mistress

the love that caused mommy stress

and left us your kids in distress

your new soul provider

 is the lady next door

daddy tell mommy the naked truth

that those late night church meetings

we're no ordinary congregation gathering

it was you and you mistress worshiping

indulging each others old bodies

tell her the naked truth

that you don't love her anymore.

Voices of Terror

voices of terror
they bring horror
Destroy you and leave you hollow
destroy you from deep,
deep like in your bone marrow

voices of terror
they confuse me like chemistry
they remind me of my incapability
to make me loose my identity
success and bright future
to them is just fantasy

voices of terror
i wake up in the middle of the night
hearing my parents voices
to open my eyes to reality
torealise that they are not there

voices of terror
open wounds that have healed ages ago
voices of terror i hear them
you hear them we all hear them
they are suicidal,homicidal
we say they are natural
they tell me to over dose pills
jump of the hill
go to a restaurant and runaway
without paying the bill
and my own soul to kill

voices of terror
they remind me of the possibility
that any day i could receive a call
that im no longer needed in varsity premises
due to my inability to pay tuition fees
voices of terror
they oppose my mission
my vision to change the world
voices of terror
they bring horror
they leave you hollow and shallow
they tell me daily
that there might be no tomorrow
cause life is something we borror

I Was Inlove With the Devil

i will tell you words,
that will make your soul to faint,
for i am not a saint,
Been living life, like a labyrinth.
I felt love, and i needed it to last,
but you were on a mission to satisfy your lust.

I was in love with the devil,
who roamed around capturing everyone attention.
And putting them under his spell of detention,
just to satisfy his lustful flesh affections.
To his victims life he brought imperfections.

I was in love with the devil,
who seem not to be satisfied with my blood,
went and searched on the street,
for the blood to quench his thirst.
I was the beauty and you were the beast
my body was your festive season feast
under your white bed sheet

I was in-love with the devil.
From his mouth came words,
which seemed to capture my soul.
His commands i obeyed,
from his demonic enchanting voice .

Indeed the devil is a liar.
For you lied to me and said,
you will never break my heart,
yes you did not just brake my heart,
you toned it into pieces and stole my soul,
and left me empty as a shell.

Your eyes were magnets with a strong attraction force,
my friction force was weaker than the applied force.
i was drawn to you ,with an ease.
you said we will fly together
to the bright future,
i wonder whose wings a fallen angel was gonna use.
i'm happy for you my sister for you have found your angel
