Impact Your Ni

Impact Your World!

World gives birth to worlds
Planet interacting with other planets
Knowledge acquisition that makes no impact
Is like a stagnant water that will soon be full of shits
Impact your world!

Many talents lying unused
I can do this , do that , yet no action
Living in isolation, helping no others
Family, friends not having a feel of your world
Surely such world without impact will soon go rust
Impact your world!

Course mates recognize you not
Or you are simply known making trouble
Roomies praying that you should never come back home
Yet you raised your shoulders high saying "they are scared of me"
Is this how your world will die in isolation?

With your pride, can you rule your world?
Self esteem, being egocentric will surely limit you
If you are offline for two days and no one care to ask you "why"
Maybe you are yet to impact your worlds

Leaders are born, leaders are made
Let your world be bigger than the rest
Let your impacts be felt every where you go
Will your course mates ever miss you for good?
Or would they jubilate with the joy of not being in class with you anymore after graduation?
Impact your world

Be an entrepreneur, businesses rule the world
Work on your talent, it will take you to the top
Your certificate should be a prestige and not a yardstick for riches
Be realistic, you are very unique
No limitations, impact your world!

In your work place, church or mosque
Are you a pest, liabilities or an asset?
Be a boss that employ not the one seeking to be employed
Create opportunities don't fight on those available so little
You need to dare, believe me, your world could be larger than that of Dangote
Impact, help, teach, learn , take risk and never stop
Live not in the shadow of others
Be yourself, be responsible for your action
Courageous , selfless, humble and outshine not your masters
For your world shouldn't be in for rivalry but uniqueness , standing out
Impact your world!

"A man without an impact, is worse than a valueless object"
Make a good impact!

A Crazy Day

A crazy day

Masculine in the stature
Outstanding in reaching out
The goal crawling to the pilot point
How slow like a snail it seems
And it looks so blur like a dream

Crazy day, oh thou crazy day
When the legs seem faster than cars
And the pocket seems too deep of emptiness
When determination remains the only belly food
And the hustler looks like a fool

Oh the crazy day of many wants
When phone works but battery fails
The interview fixed but transport fare
Garri available but in search for sugar
The day we wish, never to remember

The day you were told you've gat nothing to offer
When all roads seem turning round
And your spherical earth seems rectangular
Squeezing a round hole in a square peg
A crazy day, full of tears

When a man couldn't profess his love
Being of a low personality, low self esteem
When the shoes look like a boat
Suits then are better called rain coats..lol
A crazy day of tattered hair, empty belly

But the dream has lead great men far
Sharing their stories in achievements
They all have tasted bitterness in some ways
And never gave up in their race

The crazy days are inevitable
For gold shines but must pass through fire
Some will swim oceans to the other side
Many will climb mountains to reach the goal
Different strokes for different folks

Oh, the crazy day
Thou temporary crazy day
You make a man stronger
In failure, to learn success
Transformed within a seconds

Cherish your mistakes
Embrace the days of your hustle
Work hard, think smart
Pray hard, hold on to your faith
That your crazy day, will soon be over

Second Chance

How hard my heart beat
When I remember the dead
How mysterious they left to rest
They surely passed through many tests
I wished they lived to their best

One minute alive, next gone like a cloud
A flower so fresh in the morning
Whithered in the night
Like the beauty of a woman
It gets no really younger
We are here for a little while
To disappear into the thin air

What a live living for others
What a record following the dead
To account for things done in the flesh
Our contribution to human race
And the corruptions in form of games

Today has gone, tomorrow comes
As he pleases, he spares our life
To make a change, to change our ways
For the dead, he gave no second chance

Night has come as he commands
Heart reflect what the brain thinketh
Do we think of what will remain
When you are gone, your work follows

Nothing is permanent so it is with our existence

Don't just stand observing
Race a finger to make a positive change
For that will surely be said of you when you are gone.

Alive

In the dark , pit may look like a bed
In anger, heart beats faster than drum
In hunger, eye loses sight
Circumstances, unforseen
Harms and damage , immeasurable.
Lives could snap off in a seconds
Yet, I am here, you are there

Going out , coming in
Like the passengers in a bus
Different junctions we may reach
Parting ways may be inevitable
Relationship and friendship cut short
Yet , I am here , you are there

Difficult or easy it may be
Balanced diet may turn below diet
Rest room may turn toilet
Shoes may become slippers
Wardrobe unchanged for years
Yet , I am here, you are there

The rich get typhoid and all the hypers
They look happy but inwardly sick and dying
Even we, have lost many friends, colleagues and
mates
Riches will come if our creator wish
But with the one we couldn't buy, he blesses us
The life we live and the air we breath
There may be so much we lack
Yet , I am here, you are there......
Alive!

7-Colours

7-COLOURS
It was in the cloudy and dewy morning
Pulling across the wet trees
Lonely but needed no one.7 rivers swam
7 roads carefully crossed
Yet my rainbow unfound

Horns loudly sounded
The bell ringing loudly

Having walked immeasurable miles

With the degrees unbeatable

7 days, 7 weeks and still counting

Thinking she will be there

Waiting impatiently to be taken

Yet my rainbow unfound

In darkest hour and daylight

Summer comes , winters visits

Across the continent, within the planet earth

Bring them out for my pleasure

The sightseeing more than adventure

Scrutiny! Criticism!

Against racism!

Yet none is found worthy

Out of the black, among the white
Pleasant sight but mind, unsatisfactory
Searching for beauty or good habit
Nice outfit but qualities not befitting
Give me 7 stars to shine
7 moons for honeymoon
Give me few lengthy 7 hours
My mouth will still ulter
Yet my rainbow unfound

Depressed or ecstatic I'm at sea
Racing round the universe in honesty
Lust found but love found wanting
Give me a lady with a gentle mind
Don't wanna meet her in a party
Nor in a carnival but a quiet place
Let her appear to me in 7 colours
In the 7 colours of a rainbow

Weird I may seem
Unreasonable all my imaginations may be
But when this piece is read among the ladies
The one that decipher the codes of 7 colours
Such is worthy to be my rainbow
And I, will be her heroe.

The inspiration from the separation of "white" scientifically separated to 7 colours - the ROYGBIV
White denotes " peace and purity"

So let her come to me in 7-colours of a rainbow....come to me in white...bring to me " peace and purity"

When I Act Like a Baby

When I act like a baby?

So innocent at heart , full of life
Making no enemies of none, free mind
Baby cries, a sudden switch to laughter
And as they play, to catch unlimited fun

I am your man not by muscles
Responsible, so lovely and cool
Determined and very ambitious
But in some ways, somehow
Will my silly acts be tolerated my darling... ?
When I act like a baby

When I come home, so stressed up
And the pain, unintentionally transfered
Will you my nerves cool down?
And my mind, serves water for a cooling
Will you fetch me water to bathe?
And my sweaty clothes help me removed
Oh my darling, I will sometimes act like a baby

A man is strong, yes, he is masculine
Strong for hard work, to feed his home
He keeps a lot of thought in his mind
Some dreams hidden to manifest
He cares, even when he doesn't show
But to his wife, the soft part of him
He still cannot but as a baby act, sometimes!

Darling, will you like my mother act?
Giving me your shoulder when I like a baby cry
Wiping my tears with your bare hands, so comforting
Calming my Souls with your sweet words, so soothing
Will you please take no offence at my babyish acts?
Please do, honey, when I like a baby act

I will, your man, forever be
A father, brother, in your whole life
Bring you coffee while you lay in bed
Takes you places you never dreamt of
I will come home, early, my damsel
My weekend spend in your lovely arms
I will, yes, be your everything
But all I for now ask of thee
Please take me as your lovely first son
When, though a grown up man, I acts like a baby

The World of a Writer

The world of a writer

The world of a writer, like a caretaker
Who is in charge for administration
To travel to and fro the yet to happen
Bringing the mind down the memory lane
And warning for the things yet to happen
He is like a prophet in other people's worlds
Assuming the feeling of what others go through
He is a career of incredible motivations

He writes what he Imagines
Relay the things witnessed
Share the situations passed through
His brain, wired to his pen
He thinks 20miles ahead of other
Visiting other planets to get breaking news

His profession, hard to bypass
Or which project is better executed if not penned?
Show me a professional that write not
And I will show you a mathematician that count not
A writer is more than an actor
For he remains the better interpreter of his story
He is stronger than a soldier
Because pen is mightier than sword
He is more than a celebrity
Because his pen can make or Mar a celebrity
He is a better career of information
Hidden from the earshot of others
He dictates for all readers what to be aware of
For it is better written than said

A vision not written is a vision forgotten
Writers are the salt of every discoveries
The picture for painters to paint
Describers of the drugs doctors prescribe
The documents engineers refer to for help
Case studies for all the government
And the teacher of all human rights

The three minutes expended to read a piece from a writer
Is like the one-tenth of his own production time
Appreciate all the writers across the world
If truly your life will be a mess without reading

Shout out to all my fellow writers and fans
That we write it doesn't mean it happens to us
It is just the revelation of other people's world
Read all readable.... Life is a mess without reading

"all writers are readers but not all readers are writers"

".....a writer travels round the world even at a spot, in his confined quiet room"

Its Another Monday

It's another Monday!

It's another day
Another golden day
Setting out before the rays
Whether it's rains or not
Its a day to work for means
And not just another day
But a Monday for a new week

Waking up, I am not weak
Let us stand to rule our world
To go work and lazy not
Its another Monday
To toil for money
Workers hasting up to work
Students hasting up to class

Its a Monday, another chance
All the roads busy with legs
As people rush down to work
Today, blessings come
Nature rewards the faithful ones
Standing up to their tasks
Only the lazy on their beds still lay

Going through the holy book
All was asked to toil and work
Saying seeth thou a man
That is diligent at his work
He shall stand before king
And not before the mean men

It is another Monday
All my wrongs I will trace
All my case to God, presents
For him to direct my steps
If by grace u see today
Don't just lay and sleep some more
Run to work and don't be late

If you have some books to read
Or some lectures, you need attend
Don't ever leave a stone unturned

Its another Monday dear friends
Get up to renew your strength
Work well and lazy not
All your works, God reward
Pray to him as an humble child
And he will all your burdens bear

Congrats to those that see today
And to God only be praise
Not by power or our strength
By his grace , everyday live.

Love Concealed

Love concealed

Of a truth, I wish time could be rewind
Back to the days of my innocency
I wish I could see your inviting smiles again
Hear your soothing words, so precious
I was in love but couldn't say it

That feeling that leaves me in dilemma
To confess the war within, so troubling
Was it the fear of having NO for YES
Or that I wasn't sure of my intention
Though we met like a mere passerby
But in me, lies the burning passion

Hungered to let the cat out of bag
That day we sat at the restaurant
I thought the call you received was from a lover
I had to swallow my spilt and erase the feeling
The battle was endless, I couldn't win
It was a true love, concealed!

But now, I feel so unbelievable
Realising , then the feeling was mutual
That you waited for me to spill it
Helping my courage with your First Class hugs
Those pecks coming through Bluetooth medium
The time and attention you gave to me
So real and true from a woman that cares
Love, true love, unexpressed

Now, the second change is like impossibility
Like a president that blew his first term
Second term would demand some rigging
But how could I rig through for a true love ?
Now that another man has taken my place
The hugs and pegs from you aren't coming again
It was really a love so concealed

I will profess my love without delay
To another woman that I may love
Love concealed gave me no second chance
And I will not give 'love concealed' a second chance
To deprive me of having the woman I love

Before the Cockcrow

BEFORE THE COCKCROW

late at night, struggling with my heavy eyes
On my delicate eye lids it lands , the natural sleep
It is dark, quiet , a little dry
The moment a pin drop sounds loud like a car horn
When the tick of the wall clock becomes audible
Gently lying in my little space
Falling to the unconscious world
All before the cockcrow

All I remember is closing my sinful eyes
How my spirit travels in the dreams I knoweth not
Crossing rivers, jumping rope , chatting like in real life
I heard , some people murmur rubbish , say they sleep talk
Some snore so loud like the bleats of goat
All in the night before the cockcrow

Enemies best moment to lunch some war
The arrows , how I survive I do not know
Some babies couldn't do but bed wet
Having some dreams, seeing himself urinating
Worst scenario when I skipped dinner
The hunger comes knocking , the night seems longer
I sometimes count the ceiling slates , praying for the cockcrow

The wonders of the night, the angels sent to me
Oh God, how marvellous is your work on me before the cockcrow
Growth occurs, as some nutrients flow
Healings, stress relieved, all my bones stretched
My organs recharged and the brain refreshed
Within the short moment, before the cockcrow

Spirit travels and returns for me to wake
Yet, sometimes I forget to say thankful
After the cockcrow, the ungrateful rush to set out
How to feed for the day occupies the mind
I implore , when the cockcrow, remind me to say "thank you Lord"

Oh lord, at the dawn when I wake
Put in my mouth your song of praise, singing....." any time I see another breaking of the day , I say thank you lord, thank you lord...."

For your protection is irreplaceable, all day and every time , even before the dawn, when within the ear range, the cock crows.
