Finally sixteen!
Can't wait until the summer,
London fun begins!

Alex Mckenna Poem
Do they even care?
In company, yet alone;
I succumb to fear.

Alex Mckenna Poem
*Inspired by Leo Tolstoy's The Death of Ivan Ilyich*
My caecum! Oh, my caecum...
Or is it in fact my kidney?
I suppose it could be my kidney,
That is the catalyst for this agonizing journey towards death.
Oh! The agony!
Why do I suffer so?
My life played out as it should have,
Every aspect of propriety present.
The highest members of society will applaud my lifetime's achievements:
My wife
My children
My work
My power
My education
My house
My entertaining games of whist
Have I not lived my life as I should have?
Is it not actually the real thing?
No.
That's preposterous.
I followed all the rules, yet I am being punished;
What is there to do?
How do I make it
Stop?
Oh, I fear death
It is death I fear...
