Sorrow

Sorrow, suffering, pain and fear
These lonely thoughts follow me here
At home in the evening
Bathed in soft light
How unreal is reality
All alone in the night?
So many needs to be fulfilled
So many souls with love to be filled
One person alone, all by my self
I must meet each one,
Putting none on the shelf
Hell they say is a sad place to go
But isn't hell here? Does anyone know?
Heartache and loss is what this world brings
Not even the sun can brighten the spring
Why do I care? I don't even know
perhaps when I die my understanding will grow
After this life is gone, I wonder what's left?
Will we be any happier? Or even more bereft?
