Sadashivan Nair Poem
When I reached at 4,
My father brought,
A packet of gift;
Held me to heart,
Kissed my cheeks,
Then handed to me,
Saying "happy birthday my son,"
Opened and showed,
The Sten gun and pistol toy"
Saying "this is a perfect gift for boys";
Taught me how to use,
Saying "Perfect machine
for your 'war and peace' game";
Paused for some time,
Then gaze in my eyes,
He pulled the plastic trigger,
Displayed usage of toy,
Saying "world is violent,
May need one day";
World spends more on weapons,
Than feeding needy poor;
Impels the innocent poor,
By provoking slogans,
of religion and race;
Stimulate virgin minds,
"To hold the gun in hand,
And ask for peace, parity";
Weapon deals are
So profitable business,
All benefit whosoever involved;
Reaches to Hungry and poor,
Where Food and medicines,
Can't reach;
Weapon sale gets momentum,
In the name of peace;
They know how to split,
Divide and rule;
In the name of world in peace;
Fly dove of peace in the sky,
Then give weapon to shoot;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
Don’t get closer so much,
Don’t attach too close;
Don’t give heart so much,
They pierce it, tear it apart,
before sever from you;
Don’t love anyone so much,
Don’t give your heart to none;
Wound will bleed, pain will hurt,
When you watch them play,
Kick, bounce and twirl your heart,
Treat you as their toy;
Flirt you when they want,
Use you as they want,
Discard you when are bored;
Don’t love so much non,
They see you weak;
Fools don’t know,
Cool quenches heat;
Flame blown out by h2o;
Love is cure, heals one's soul,
Love is ritual way to God;
They live in murky world,
Don’t know what is love;
Don’t get closer so much,
Don’t attach too close;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
Twee…Twee,
Twi…twiti…twi;
We are birdie sing a song,
wake up Sun,
It’s time to work;
Ghosty night gone,
was past,
Now in bright side of life;
‘O’ my Sun give us warmth,
Glisten us with your ignis;
Twee…Twee,
Twi…twiti…twi;
Florets they bloom,
Wet in ravishing dew,
Strewing tipsy scent;
Wavy breeze cooling us,
We flutter dance;
Its a time beak to beak,
We are birdie sing a song,
Twee…Twee,
Twi…twiti…twi;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
You always run after me,
In playful and angry mood;
You scold loudly,
Take stick in hand to bash;
You play with me,
As if you play with doll;
Hug me hard,
Soothes my heart;
Take me in your lap,
Embrace gently,
Gives me warmth;
Care my dress,
Care my look,
And braid my hair;
Unending gossip,
your chat does not end;
You sing a song for me,
lyrics are so sweet,
My ears too rapt,
Don't feel being bored;
You are always after my life;
Don't do this, don't do that,
don't talk like this,
Don't sit there,
Don't go there,
Don't stay late,
Worry appears in your face;
Wait near the window,
Lips move complaining me;
You feel relieved when,
Watch my glimpse;
'O' Mama, my Mama,
You are always after my life;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
Am football,
You kick me I move;
To the direction
you choose;
Harder you kick
farther I reach
Yet under your feet;
Made of hide
Of unfortunate sheep,
Children stitch,
Then I come in play ground,
In branded name;
A modern day slave,
Made of slaves,
Have no voice
To raise loudly;
You enjoy on my pain;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
I too am smitten,
On thy lustrous glow;
Cologne of thy juvenility,
Is so stupendous;
None can stop,
Thee strewing in ambiance,
Alluring crowd;
My boggle is,
These moments of love,
May or may not last;
May leave me in loneliness;
Will be bereft,
For thy love;
Will be shattered,
If don't stay my side;
I too am enamoured,
But scared,
If Sun sets down,
Behind the veil of moon,

Sadashivan Nair Poem
World is so beautiful,
But view through dazzling eyes;
Supple heart softens,
Kneels before the virtues,
Non can deny,
The beauty thou hast;
It isn't about eyes,
Neither cheek, nor is thy lips;
All that drags,
Is thy beautiful heart;
Compassion, love for all,
All like me yearn to cohere,
Seek amour of thine;
Voice of thy so sweet,
Ears mellow as honey in hive;
The company with thou,
Coses me in dark side of life;
Thy tipsy beauty glares from inside,
Luminate so the world fills with joy;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
Surging war country to country for dominance. Killing people for own contentment only gives learning lessons to kids and their kids. Will say this is the way of life....
Just imagine the future world;
Dry desert less greenery,
Gift for Future kids;
Nature they will eulogize,
Green sceneries hung on walls;
Never will remember,
The days of past;
Peace dove will no more,
Carry olive branch;
Live animals and birds,
Kids will watch in ultra TV,
Or museums movie halls;
Vultures will watch human carcus,
And dance in sky;
Kids will play with live guns,
Carry explosive grenades;
Bhoom, bhoom bombs,
As crackers blast;
As if were commemoration,
Of New year eve;
The shattered homes,
Injured running hither thither,
In pursuit of refuge;
Blood ridden bodies,
Lie in the streets unnoticed;
Never will wish to dream relation,
Emotions, love will wane;
Human will lose humanity;
Super modern world
Will act same as stone age,
The only difference,
They will carry weapons
And latest gaggets in hand;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
Said an aged woman
"My son is lucky,
Got a job in little town;
Never mind my loneliness,
My son should rise,
Live good life;"
After some weeks and months,
Son left to town;
Each Saturday and day off,
He visited mom,
Stayed together,
Enjoyed moments of bliss;
Days and months passed,
Son got better responsible job;
Too busy in work,
Coerced him miss weeks,
Months meeting mom;
So isolated;
Impatient bewildered Mom,
Said once to son;
"O my son, O my son,
Feel suffocating in lonely days;
Come soon it's long no see,
Relieve my loneliness";
Son visited as often as could,
But not as frequent as in past;
Unable to visit oft,
Shifted mom to an old age home;
Days and weeks
and then months passed;
Only son was always in her mind,
Always blessed him for his rise;
Too busy son visited not too oft,
Hoped, prayed for good health of mom;
A few days later,
An urgent telephone call
From the old age home;
"Your mom is serious
Urgent, come fast,
If you want see her,
In her last days of life";
Son rushed with girlfriend
As his son;
Mama said nothing,
Gestured her love to all,
Held the kid in lapel,
Gazing son, said;
"This old age home is too hot,
Even food can't stay fresh for long,
Arrange the fan and fridge,
Tears in worried son's eyes,
Said "Will arrange the same in hour or two"
Mom in silent assuring smile said,
"No, my son these aren't for me,
Am towards the end,
Few hours or a day left;
These are for you my son,
When you go old,
And settle down in old age home";
Crouching his head, tears in eyes,
Kissed mama's hand;
"O mama, O mama, I always
Expected you asking need,
But ye only gave in whole life,
Nothing ye expected
Except my good health and rise;
Even while enduring pain and hardship,
Ye worried of me and my pain;

Sadashivan Nair Poem
I am an aged dusky man,
like a bottle of Bordeaux wine,
The older am I,
The Stronger my tipsiness,
I am packed in old Jeroboam bottle;
May be in old filthy bottle,
Yet soul is fresh vigorous,
inebriating wine;
My soul is prisoner under cork,
Once is released,
gravity is at height;
Squirt my wetty aroma,
exhilarates all for fun;
My body may break or perish,
Even may leave me helpless,
Yet am Bordeaux wine, loved by all,
They all know, more the older am I,
More the tipsiness I have;
I am an aged dusky man,
like a bottle of Bordeaux wine;
