If I Were In Charge of the World

"If I Were In Charge Of the World"
Kendra D. Eggleston

If I were in charge of the world
I would cancel harsh words,
feeling tired,
rules, and also drama.

If I were in charge of the world
There would be warmer nights,
Healthier thoughts, and
Goals and promises I can actually keep.

If I were in change of the world
You wouldn't have guilt.
You wouldn't have to live life in fear.
You wouldn't have drama queens.
Or "Don't do that! You know what will happen" because
You wouldn't even have to be controlled by the people who don't even care.

If I were in charge of the world
Chocolate would be a vegetable
All life's challenges would be easier to face,
And a person who sometimes forgot to clean,
And sometimes forgot to not make a scene
Would still be allowed to be

In charge of the world.
