Little Lady

Listen.

Little Lady;
Mother Mary bore a baby,
Hence you came from mommy.

You were a little damsel, although childhood was just a delusion.
Playing with Barbie;
Jamming with Britney;
You want to dance;
You want to sing;
You wanted to do your own thing.

You turned five.
You couldn’t wait for school;
But maybe thought it was drool;
Education shouldn’t just be about yearning for the prize.

You turned twelve.
You wanted to grow up;
You started wearing make-up;
Relationships become a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You turned fifteen.
Life sucks;
Love life is tough.
You wanted time to stop;
But maybe you needed to step up;
Destiny lies ahead.

You’re going to turn eighteen.
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders;
See the lies;
Then you’ll realize.

Little Lady;
[Don’t you] forget about me,
Although seek to become somebody.
