What's so strange about it?
The way it curls like a baby or
The way it stands out on it's own
The way it swings when I walk or
The way it catches your stare when I talk
Natural roots, they spring into trees of knowledge
The offense you take, the regards you make and
Hassles I get when going state to state
It's like my whole life's at stake
Damn gimmie a break
(So) What's the big fuss about the Natural Lust
Rejection to European Beauty Standards is what I truly adore
We need more Natural sisters MORE MORE MORE
MY LOCKS IS NOT A STYLE, NEITHER A FAD, NOR IMPRESSION
MY LOCKS IS A WEAPON, IT HELPS ME FIGHT AGAINST OPPRESSION
I'm not afraid to show it and I'm not afraid to grow it
Information, dedication, and confirmation is wrapped up in my hair
which wraps around my crown-
So thick, So tough, So strong, So long
So Black and untrapped just my appearance is an attack
Come into job interviews with my image misconstrued, unculture myself
Just to fit what works for you
Cut my hair for what?? NO! Just Leave Me Alone
One half of one percent is still the wealth we own
So if I cut my hair off, what will the Black man own?

Don't Worry
When you feel that your back is against the wall and there's no soldiers around and your other half is nowhere to be found
Don't Worry
When you feel that the higher educational hierarchy has failed you and society persuasion is all around you
Don't Worry
When you help others but no help in return
Don't Worry
When the ones you thought was for you is actually against you
Don't Worry
When your down to your last
Don't Worry
One thing you should know- is that you are never alone because the ancestors are always with you
In reality- we're just living off spirits.
Conquer demons, trample the beasts, and elevate your kundalini to the crown chakra because
THE MIND IS ALL
Use the herbs for assistance;
because the herbs are for the healing of the Nation
Genesis to Revelations
Use the ancestral energy for it is protection
I said use the ancestral energy for it is guidance
I am and old soul in a young body living off of everlasting energy
Life is never over
Fight like a warrior
Rule like a King
Analyze Decisions and Options like a Queen
Flow like water sting like a bee and move like gods

Giving Thanks
Just thankful to be alive, and know the things that I know
Thankful for the sun that persuades the plants to grow from the seeds we sow
Thankful for the black women. Thankful for the black man, I’m here now
Thankful for the word, sound, and power
Vibrations to destinations release revelations hour to hour
Thankful for the spiritual guidance
And even when I wanna be loud, I move in silence
So thanks for the self-control, because even my discipline gets disciplined
Thanks 4 the people that came into my life & thanks for the people that walked out
I either learned a lesson or gained a blessing
And even both in some cases
I either got right or got left, even both in some cases
I either did the crime or did the time, or even both in some cases
I either did the helping or the neglecting, and eventually along my ways I met karma, underrated but yet never a *****, karma is the truth

Life is an ongoing cycle, give thanks to the circle, from the color red to the color purple, from the speedy rabbit to the slowly turtle, from the smallest leap to the highest hurdle, from the non-producing to the finest fertile

To persuade or control, the primary role, why sell your soul to reach a goal, you digging a bigger hole, that’s not how it goes
We must preserve the souls, reverse the roles, balance the poles, and study what grows cause energy goes where attention flows
To destroy or rebuild? What’s the reasons you kill? You would say that you REAL But ni**a you frail, and I could bet you a bill or I could bet you a meal
Check the deal
Robbery, persons, places, and things
We’re all of Royalty, so why you robbing the kings?
I didn’t hire you fire you mis-educate you or lie to you
I think we both know who did that, see you just scared to react
(Cause) when the slave catcher comes to put you in chains and lock you away
you don’t bust ya gun
YOU JUST RUN
When he comes to split the family, like auction ya children off
You just let him, and claim it’s the law such a coward, so cowardly so
They leave ya hood filthy rich, suit and tie and you just let them go

Nobody knows what we go through
Thoughts to be rude (alone) in solitude
Fight and cuss, slice and buss, from light to dusk some slaves had guts
Cause days was rough and life is tough, but enough is enough
It’s time to Rise Back Up
So mis-informed, a lack of knowledge, you can’t forget your roots
Replacing religion over culture, No just teach the youths the truth
I don’t know where you might be going, and I don’t know where you have been
But no matter how far you travel, you can’t get out ya skin
The Black Skin is a Symbol for National Greatness
So what’s the problem? You invented inventions
So what’s the problem? You connected connections
So what’s the problem? You rule the world
You forgot! That’s the problem
You are (1 with) the Most High
The problem is you forgot!
Well, I’m here to remind you that you are great. Just think of me as your spiritual and material reinforcement. In closing with great words from the excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey – l leave you with this- “Up You Mighty Race, Accomplish What You Will”
