The Harmony of Nature

Drip, drip falls the rain
cluttering on the rock mountain
seeping through the plain
collecting in the fountain

And the breeze is fine
whistling through the pine
wiping the pine leaves a shine
whipping branches into line

And long are the shadows
giving shade to the sparrows
stretching over shallow fallows
patterning mellowing hollows

Does it really matter
Whether its weather
....or its finite climate
All is the beauty of God’s creation
The harmony of nature

Because You Are There

After being cheated and betrayed
After being worked through I felt used
When it came to an end I was not amused
Then I was spent, exhausted and abused
An investment in love totally misplaced
Days of betrayal turned to weeks of self denial
How shameless, heartless, and merciless

Left hanging on the edge of a cliff precariously
Heartbroken buttered by the gusty winds furiously
Clinging on self-blame, bitterness and hatred ingloriously
Here you came out of the blue loving graciously
You pulled me out of the mud at nightfall
An adoring gesture to cherish and recall

Today I am a sailing ship with a mast
You give me the strength to love and to trust
The power to break through the crust
The courage to wipe away the dust
and forget the past so I can love again

No wonder love is like the new moon
So resilient that it stays all afternoon
Refuses to be broken by the sun even at noon
I've the assurance this is not a short honeymoon

You're forever mine to cherish and to love
You're the song that I sing when bathing
You're the anything in my everything
You're the rose that I can let grow by my window
You're the softy wool tucked in my pillow
Love has a meaning because you're there

The Law of the Rigid

The morbid law of the rigid
It is a principle for the principal
A belief that holds the total
The standard not for the normal
Above reproach, beyond nominal
A law for the feeble and mortal
A rule of tyranny and inflexibility
Found in a principality
Observed as a quality
Anything besides is nullity
Transgress, face penalty
Regress, become nonentity
Redress, labeled mediocrity
Resolute, named superiority
Meek, called inferiority
Compromise, cast as frailty
Opinions equated to profanity
Fairness shunned as evil and vanity

Rationale is called disdain
Don’t drift, remain
Don’t shift, sustain
Don’t twist, maintain
Don’t lift, retain
That’s the law for the deprived
The morbid law of the rigid

Freedom Freedom Freedom

Deep in our hearts we endear
A desire that sear
A wish treasured and dear
Piercing like a spear
We wait in trembling fear
For a wish so near
Minds focused and clear
from troubles in our rear
In solitude we wear
the bravery of the bear
clothed in strong gear
of faith that in endure all tear
A hope that smear
a cry for peace in the ear
Freedom freedom freedom

Nylon Blue

Nylon blue, nylon blue cloth dangles on the line,
Ordinary people dine over wine and droop over the line to the tine

Nylon blue, nylon blue there sings the children,
Their song and hope riven and driven down the glen
Nylon blue, nylon blue their friends cry in torture,
Their prefecture nature can’t nurture their future

Nylon blue, nylon blue the old wonder how can’t they,
Without the sun tumble dry their grey hey

Nylon blue, nylon blue is there hope for the people?
The people that grapple with a supple struggle

Like nylon blue cloth hanged to dry but not crushed
Blown by the wind but not dashed
Like nylon blue cloth shining in utter despair
The ordinary people’s hope repair
Like nylon blue cloth dangling in full of colour
The children’s future in splendour

Sorry, Not Your Report

Please don't tell me everything
   about possibility of sicknesses
and nothing about realities of healing

Why empty that data bank of problems and of weaknesses
   and its bankruptcy of solutions

This report will i not take
I will believe Jesus's report

Shade of You In Me

Shade of you in me
Yeah, days can be brutal and polite
They have set in you and me a mighty fire alight
A ragging fire, blazing delight
The flames we both know will twilight
Leaving a shade of you in me

No matter how, no matter when
No matter where you go
A shade of you will stay with me
Always a shade of you in me

This love came so strong
Even when it seemed so wrong
But love has power to stay so long
That it paint a shade of you in my heart

You’re the sticky-stuck-stuff tucked in my heart
You’re the loved impropriety property of my heart
You’re my thought’s handwriting, the colour of my heart
Your love is the brush, painting a shade of you in me

When I love, I love you
When I miss someone, I miss you
When I feel, I feel you
When I want, I want you
Because there is a shade of you in me

Never been in this kind of love
Never been with this kind of a lover
Never have had this kind of desire
Until I had a shade of you in me
