Missing/Exploited Children

Li'l Angels, Child-aged old
Long time, lost out in the cold
Like clay were you shaped into a mold
Of What Not To Be, after you by Momma had been told
Now, for your safe return, We must be bold
Although, the rainbow's end lacks a pot of gold
On the idea that it's a loss, should We not be sold
Ordering the Authorities more areas patrolled
As if fate in Our hands is controlled
Wanting back What from Us had been stoled
Despite, it could cause Our heads to be swolled
But, for this should it be life without parole
The conviction made based on the Windows of the Soul
For it hurts MEMORY LANE being strolled
Repeatedly, taken on Our hearts a toll
Not having Our child, in arms to hold

A Dedication To Nancy Lynn, Nat'L Stunt Pilot

From the traces of Amelia Earhart
Her roots We could be tying
Considering how she had
Mastered "the Art of Flying"
So naturally doing her Snap rolls
The way a Computer geek
On the Internet, does his scrolls
Soaring through thin air
About the Earth's equator
Using her woman's intuition
To be her navigator
Knowing by heart, all the dangers
Of taking such a risk
Believing, solely, within herself
That "People are only killed by Cockiness"
Despite, how Our courageous Amelia
Had cold disappeared
Was Nancy still fascinated
Feeling worse things to have feared
Like being made to stay from
The one thing she did desire
Recalling how Confidants
Tried to convince her to retire
Although, She would Never give up
The freedom of flying her XL 300 Plane
Pressing on, with A sunny disposition
Ignoring the possiblities of there being rain
Because she had a "rep to protect"
Being a Stunt Pilot, Nationally known
Becoming right before Our very eyes
A legend to her death tragically flown
Upon "staying the course"
Like the crew of Colmbia Seven
Looking to defeat all odds
Getting lost between earth and heaven
Putting a damper on her plans
For futhering her flight thru the friendly skies
Except in the Spirit, appearing as a Cloud of Smoke
From which We choke in between the Cries

Mr. Crunch N Munch

Do,Doo-Doo, Do
I got Something for you
Are you hungry or thirsty
What will it be
I got more than meets the Eyes
Tater chips that taste like french fries
Candy, Soda and Gum
Now, who wants some
And, it's All you can eat
Do, Doo-Doo, Do
Crunch N Munch
A whole bag bunch
Do, Doo-Doo, Do
All day through
Just for you
What's on your mind
Coca-Cola, Gingerale, Rock Creek Lime
With a Big Mama or two
Do, Doo-Doo, Do
I got 'Em all for you

Another Bee In the Hive

I'm like Winnie the Pooh
Can't keep My hands out the hunny
Nah, I aine making jokes
Cause it sure aine funny
But, it gives A brother reason to smile
By keeping his days, All sunny
Especially, when they So hot
Until, it makes the nose runny
Got Me feeling like I'm rich
With a pocketful of money
What, you're asking if
I see Women, as a Playboy Bunny
No, it's just that they're like the bees
When making Love, Sweet as honey

A Dedication To Army Pvc, Lori Piestewa

From the time, You became an indian squaw
Were you A rebel like Quick McGraw
Unhesistant of answering that Call
Knowing true Warriors Never stall
That We before walking first gotta Crawl
Like Our Loved Ones, back Home, that are Small
Yet, let's "just fix it", Y'all
When in Our court, is the ball
For the Reward of feeling Ten feet tall
If not Another name on the Wall
Even if We, upon trying, Stumble and fall
Cause No matter what, We're heroes, One and all

In Honor of Gladys Bullock, May She Rest In Peace

What a Pleasure to see you coming down the Street
Cause you were So friendly and So sweet
The nicest person anyone could ever meet
Never to do Evil did you walk your feet
Although, at times, were you forced to bring the heat
So that the bad things, We wouldn't Repeat
As you did when I, myself, of a good frienship did cheat
Being it was your Nature to always be discreet
Looking all sharp, matching from head to feet
Wearing stylish hats and your hair so neat
Proud Mama with devoted daughters to make your life complete
Enjoying good company and soul food to eat
Which you to be a part of, would do, in a heartbeat
Often, on the go, come hail, snow or sleet
For one monkey your destination couldn't defeat
Having the energy in which the Energizer bunny couldn't compete
Always Smiling, to have known you was A Special Treat
At the right hand of the Father, you definitely earned that Seat

Momma's Pride and Joy/The Defamation of the Towers

Momma's twin Bundles of joy
Did fate, Suddenly, come to destroy
After decades of standing so Proud and Tall
Were they coming down like th Berlin Wall
When a Suicidal plane took to dropping from the sky
Only to disrupt this Pillar structure which stood So high
Causing an Earthquake of a shock, All across the Nation
Upon uprooting and annihilating such a Solid foundation
Having been built by Man, long ago, with Craft and skill
Which HATRED, within minutes, had managed to kill
A prevention on these "prized possessions" did it put, of further telling their Story
Not to mention, how the Attack had crushed the Spirits of Old Glory
The idea of her Babies having been defamated
Although, In our souls and minds, will They FOREVER be Commemorated
Just as the way they were before the Explosion and Cloud of Smoke
When it seemed that their Invincible bond could Never be broke
Yet, some foreign Object invaded and took away Our liberty
By making "The Twins", a loss, as far as, Visibility
Carrying out this so-called Signature hit on Nine Eleven
That forced Many lives to be on the freeway of Heaven
Leaving Us, in Rememberance, to be flying Old Glory, at half-mast
So, that We can be forever mindful of What was done in the Past

Starvin' Artist

I got the blues
Cause Katrina soaking up My shoes
Got me a cold, due to my wet feet
Yet, i got the urge to visit Grant Street
Although, i wish on a four leaf clover
For this day to do all over
Where everything is in tip-top shape
But, for that, i need a Miracle in a cape
A heroic being to drop from the sky
To bring back all my people who did die
So, we could be a family, again
And, i could taste some good din-din
Eat me some fried chicken and potato salad
As i snap my fingers to an old jazz ballad
While getting my groove on like Marvin Gaye
If i could have back my life would i sing: Oh Happy Day!!!

Ester of Tsunami (Revisited)

Ester, Queen of the Ocean Wave
Your chances of Survival, appeared to be Very grave
After your Family had lost Sight of you
Last seen wearing a shirt of Royal blue
Strolling, playfully, across the beach
Before the Water rising, was within reach
Then, Disaster struck Every land and building
Causing Aids, your Life, to be shielding
Preparing to take you Someplace to be dry
While assuring you there was No need to cry
As they took you, gently, by Each arm
Out of the mouth of Danger; Safe from harm
To a Place where you could, Comfortably, stay
That you were Allright did your Family pray
Searcng Every village, for So many hours
Like Loved Ones did at the "Infamous Towers"
On that fateful day of Nine Eleven
But, God forbid, if you had gone to heaven
Leaving them while getting through this mess
Wishing to have you to Caress
And, hoping to see Your face, Once more
Luckily, came the MOMENT, they had been waiting for

Altar By the Curb

The Altar by the curb
Was No one to distrub
A request of Family and Friends
That in his honor had made Amends
More like a shrine, as they shed a tear
Decorating the Spot with empty Alcohol bottles, including beer
In rememberance of how He was here
Although, it looked like Time Square, upon the New year
With people gathering to celebrate the Life, he did live
Bringing more Memories, as the Salvation Army, at X-mas does give
Had I, such affection, ever to have seen
Over a guy, who as of June 3rd, was barely Eighteen
Routine ritual practices, taking place, Every single day
Because They never wanted him to go; At least, Not in this way
