Ellen Krug Poem
The day is cold and brisk,
Wind beating against my delicate body
Like a touch of a fist
Blowing with a fierce melody
Ready to make another grand stand.
Anger is its name
And destination clobbers
Those who enter its path
Like a piece of clay.
Time lingers
And nothing fits into place
And the bells ring.
A toll has been made
Of the survivors who sing.

Ellen Krug Poem
You were always there when I needed someone to talk to
And give me a helping hand when I needed it the most.
You were my best friend but now you aren't whole
Like the person I remembered you used to be,
Vibant and strong with mind of your own
And I miss you terribly.
It's not the same anymore since you entered your own world
That no one else can enter and reach you
Since you can't talk or understand what's going on around you.
Mom I want you back the way I remember you.
I have no one to talk to
And I am all alone.
I miss the conversations we used to have
And the places we used to go together
In each other's company where we had fun
And laughed a lot over the silliest things we did.
Mom please come out of you shell
So we could be a family again.
Please don't leave us and go to heaven.
We need you more than anything on earth than have God
Take you from us and make
You his angel for all of eternity.
