“LIFE'S HIGHWAY” BY: TOM C. © 2014 all rights reserved
I’VE BEEN UP AND DOWN ALL COASTLINES, SEEN THINGS I CAN’T REPEAT,
I walked MANY PATHS sober and STUMBLED DRUNKEN IN THE STREET.
I’VE SMOKED SOME FANCY CEEGARS, INHALED CALLIE WEED THAT WAS MY SHINE,
I MET sexy LOVERS ALONG THE WAY, BROKEN HEARTS I LEFT BEHIND.
IVE SAT UPON COASTAL ROCKS OF MAINE, BURIED MY TOES IN TAMPA SAND,
I’VE HUNG MY HAT IN TOWNS AND CITIES, ALL THROUGHOUT THIS LAND.
I SURFED shores OF SAN DIEGO, LEFT FOOTPRINTS ON LAGUNA Beach.
I LEARNED FROM TEACHERS OLD AND YOUNG, And FOUND OTHERS I COULD TEACH.
LIFE’S HIGHWAY, A SERIES OF STORIES, WHEN PUT TOGETHER,
MAKE a bOOK,
REMEMBER WHEN YOU CROSS YOUR HIGHWAY, BOTH WAYS YOU NEED TO LOOK.

"THE ROSE" (c) 2014 All Rights Reserved:
WHAT A SITE TO SEE WE SAY, BUT DO WE REALLY KNOW
WHAT A ROSE GOES THROUGH , TO SPRING THAT CERTAIN GLOW.
IN THE WINTER SHE HIDES AWAY, SO PATIENTLY SHE SLEEPS,
A WISHING WELL OF STRENGTH AND LOVE, BUT QUIETLY SHE WEEPS.
AWAITING OLD MAN WINTER MELT, SO SHE MAY GALLANTLY REAPPEAR,
THIS LOVELY PRINCESS HIDES AWAY, HER BLOSSOMS BEGIN TO STARE,
AT THE SETTING SUN'S LAST CALL, OH,THE GLORY THAT SHE BRINGS,
STOPPING NATURE IN IT'S TRACKS, AS THE BLUEBIRD SPRYLY SINGS,
A SONG TO ME ABOUT YOUR GAZE, THAT SETS MY HEART ON FIRE,
TO ABSORB AGAIN YOUR SWEET AROMA, IS MY GREAT DESIRE.

Thomas Caswell Poem
This Thing Called Life'
This thing called life, today's tomorrows,
cheating Father time, we beg and we borrow,
for one more day to feel the sun upon our face,
knowing borrowed time,, we can never replace.
We position ourselves as the cream of the crop,
this thing called life, we know ultimately, will stop.
In the blink of an eye, we no longer exist,
this thing called life, we should never resist.
Man has pondered their plans that recede,
yet deep in their soul, they'd only deceive,
all those around them, but not Father Time,
So, live today, like there is no tomorrow,
'This Thing Called Life.....

"Snow Falls'": (c) Copyright 2022
All Rights Reserved: Thomas Caswell
The brisk cold of winter envelopes the night, snow falls gently, in nature's delight.
Merged together by a blazing fire, flames are fanned by sensual desires.
We nestle in upon a bed of bliss,
spooning together, we share our first kiss.
My excited lips move down your nape,
sparking flames we cannot forsake.
Your silhouette turns into a sensual glow, where this night takes us, nobody knows.
I hold you tight as we drift into the zone, the taste of your fresh petal leads me home..
Soon we will rest as nature sings a lullaby,
snow falls gently as we lay and wonder why.
Why have we waited so long for this night, snow falls gently to our great delight.
Outside, snow falls, no footprints appear, inside by the fire we no longer despair. For love.
A merging of love, as Snow Falls.....

“A Journey of a thousand miles, Must begin with a single step.” Lao Tzu
“A Strangers Love” By: Tom C. (Tomkatmandoo) © 2015 All Rights Reserved
Into the dark I stepped, where the sun shone bright,
Walking bleak and endless, I had no strength to fight.
The children laughed and played, the park was full of life.
I was a broken heart , filled with misery pain and strife.
The journey that I embarked upon, with no direction told,
Utter despair gripped my spirit, as I continued to unfold.
Birds twittered lively songs, me, I could not keep a beat.
In this mired muck and mud, I would only know defeat.
The echoes of the children, played in unison with the birds,
parents gathered as they spoke, I couldn't hear their words.
Lying before them, a wasted man, not knowing God at all,
Once perched upon my EGO’S stoop, I took the hardest fall.
As they spoke, A mans warm hands, gripped my trembling arms,
He lovingly lifted me to my feet, as he said I mean no harm.
A power surged right through me, bright lights went on inside,
I’m just here to guide you son and hugged me tightly as I cried.
I opened my eyes to see them gone, less the man who stood in place,
He pointed me in a new direction, then vanished without a trace.
The long journey that I take today, filled with tears of unbridled Joy,
God graciously never left my side, you see, his Love I now employ.

“EVERY SEASON”'
NATURE HAS A WAY OF CHANGE, EVERYTHING'S PRECISE,
GOING WITH THE FLOW OF PROGRESS, PART OF SIMPLE LIFE.
TIME TO BE BORN, TIME TO GROW, TIME TO LIVE AND PASS,
TIME TO VENTURE IN LIFE'S JOURNEYS, HOPING THEY WILL LAST.
NATURE DANCES BY SUN, RAIN, STORMS, AND WINDS OF CHANGE,
CAUSING SHADOWS TO APPEAR, AND VAGUE SILHOUETTES WE ARRANGE.
ELEMENTS OF LIFE FOR US PERVADE, OUR THOUGHTS DEEPEN IN THE NIGHT,
SPECIAL SOULS GRACE OUR WORLD, OF WHICH MANY REMAIN AS BRIGHT.
Nature has a way of change, everything is precise……………………..EVERY SEASON.

“The Moment'” By: Tom C.
A subtle radiant smile and soft locked kiss,
hands clasped tightly as one exciting tryst.
Bath and bubbles, good music and cheer,
laying merged as one, erotic eyes that stare.
I cherish the moments, they burn deep in embers,
beauty fine and illumined, as our lips now part.
hearing sounds of laughter, the peace in the night,
our time spent together exploring, sensually added delight.
This incredible lady of class, beauty to spare,
is the love and spark of my life, whispers of truth that we share.
If only for the Moment.....

FOR ALMA...."Sing Me a Song"
This life I live, most divine, yet struggle abounds weighed down by time.
An Angel is sent, she sings me a song, and may do a pass thru, or find
she belongs.
Lighting my fire, sparking desire, we dance in the moonlight,
rising higher and higher.
She has that look, "Come hither my Man", then takes me slowly,
to the promised land.
Tick- Tock stops when I see her faint trace, into my arms,
a warm embrace.
I can't imagine a better place, just take a look at my smiling face.
One Comes Along, she sings me a song,
her shimmy her shine, I can't go wrong.
Stay baby, stay, Sing Me a Song....

"Let's Band As One" 3/28/20 By: Tom C.
It seems the world has gone to hell,
let's band as one to ring the Liberty Bell.
An unseen enemy has invaded our Land,
But by God Almighty, together we stand!
This Northern Rock we call the U.S. of A,
Full of Proud Americans, United we Stay!
God knows we've seen terror and been through wars,
But We The People must stay the course.
The Uptowns, The Downtowns, The Mis-begottens Too,
Together We Bleed The Great Red White an' Blue!
Now's the time to set politics aside,
And go to it Together, with American Pride!
As in War, some will live, some will perish,
But the Heartbeat of this Nation we shall Protect and Cherish!
The Sun will rise in splendor, and set again,
Our tomorrows' are unknown, just remember where we've been.
It seems the World has gone to hell,
Let's Band as One to ring the Liberty Bell.
