Carly Kelley Poem
The Right
I feel in my world
we all have a
voice
but to use that voice
is your own
choice
you have the right to
make a good
decision
you have the right to
look at a happy
vision
We all have a right to
Belong in this
Nation
it should not
matter about the
population
I feel in my world
We all have a
Voice
But to use that
Voice is your
Choice

Carly Kelley Poem
Sonnet 19
Have you ever noticed
the gentle tone
in your
voice
your peace and promise
to make a good
choice
your kindness and honor
is a work of
art
so beautiful to twist
the sinews
of a gentleman's
heart
I would go to war for
you my
love
I shall go with such
grace as a
dove
my love for you will
never fall
apart
put a knife in my neck and
a bullet in my
heart
even an arrow near my
breeches
anything to prevent you from
those death- sounding
screeches
so push through your pain
and continuous
strife
I would keep you
smiling if I
could
because believe me I
would

Carly Kelley Poem
I swing my legs in the air to catch the summer breeze
I feel the wind in my hair
I don't know what I want to do with my life
But I am not in a hurry to get there
I lay my head back to breathe the fresh clean air
I want to do something important
But do I have enough courage to care?
I keep on swinging but I never stop thinking
Will I ever make a difference?
Or when will I do it or where?
I finally stop swinging, but my head is still in the clouds
Will I be an important person?
I keep on wondering how
But for now...
I will never stop dreaming
I will never stop experiencing
And I will never stop believing

Carly Kelley Poem
When I reflect
The advances of today
And the progress of tomorrow
Gratitude is not forthcoming
Desire is kept in a shallow pool within
Beautiful a distant memory
The ethereal, unwavering presence of a human
Whose love makes one grin with a simple thought
Where memories surface with the slightest of ease
Brighter than the hottest summer days
More peaceful than the quietest of cool nights
Simpler than the most distant star
That is beauty to me
