Make This Life Easy

How long will it take for you to see
Life is just an illusion, it’s gonna pass eventually
The flesh is just a lie
Eventually you’re gonna die
But your soul will live on
Rejoice in this don’t mourn
God made you to die
It’s why you were born
Last night GOD spoke to me
Your pain will end soon, so brother don’t worry
This world will soon pass
None of this is gonna last
But the word of GOD will live on
From the dusk till the dawn, on, on and on
He said pity the living, not the dead
I replied back to him
I meant no disrespect and this is what I said
Imma hold my head high and do my part until the end

So make this life easy
This life is just a lie
Soon you’re gonna die
So why you killin him for
He’s just another brother, another lost soul
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy

Sister and brothers on streets
Instead of helping them get on their feats
We’re worrying about ourselves
It’s an endless cycle
man’s just looking out for himself
It seems clear to me
That nobody is free
Rich, white, black or poor you’re all the same to me
Trapped in a prison ruled by money
Don’t you think it’s funny
Endless numbers and papers rules us
We’ll never be happy
It’s not a mystery
The world is falling apart
I want it to end already, when will it start
Until then I guess I’m going to do my part
So while you’re here just make this life easy

So make this life easy
This life is just a lie
Soon you’re gonna die
So why you killin him for
He’s just another brother, another lost soul
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy

This poem is inspired by Tupac's Life Goes On.

Jesus Is the Greatest

Jesus is the greatest
There's no man greater It’s a fact
You cant deny he change the world, he made an impact
He is the past, present and future
There's never been a greater teacher
Its dedicated to the man himself who knows right from wrong
Admittedly I was a lost sheep until he came and knocked
It was a long talk but by the end I was a changed man
Its safe to say now I'm a fan of the man
But he is not just a man but a living god
His name lives on forever
I cant help but wonder still to this day I cant believe
How he was deceived
He payed a hefty fee for me
He suffered for my sins, three days later he was resurrected
Regrettably sometimes I took it for granted
I just hope he is not offended cos I never really meant it
He will come again to judge the world in his glory
that’s how the last chapter ended

Jesus is the greatest
Jesus is the greatest
Jesus is the greatest

What I would give to see him in his glory days
Gave a man sight using only his spit and clay, that’s not the only miracle
He gave the world hope he touched the hearts of many people
Showed us were all made in his own image one and equal
Taught us to forgive and turn the other cheek
But I must confess at first it was hard to believe
How can someone that was heavily deceived
Was able to turn the other cheek
I had doubt in my mind about how he was conceived
I needed answers, was he the real messiah or a liar?
I turned to the scriptures, I turned to Isaiah
He predicted the lord would walk up on this earth again
He would bring with him the heavenly fire
This gave me hope when my back was against the ropes
I tried to be tough but I without him I wasnt strong enough
I guess he was always with me, i never did this alone
I cant stress it enough but I will say it again

Jesus is the greatest
Jesus is the greatest
Jesus is the greatest

I'D Rather You Natural

I understand you’re insecure but why you gotta put that make up on
Ya beautiful, its true I ain't stunting, I ain't trying to con
Don’t run away from who you are, it’s the way you were born
Personally hand crafted by the man upstairs
He’d want you to be yourself
You’re unique, you ain't like every other book on the shelf
What’s underneath ya front cover
Let me see what’s under that powder and eye liner
It's true I want to open you up and read you up
Every page I turn to you getting finer and finer
God damn you got me tripping
I ain't the smartest around here but that’s saying something
Girl put that make up down
I’m being honest with ya ain't trying to make you frown
I know you’re insecure but I’d rather you natural

The Poetic Thug

I’m a thug by nature, I was born to be
I didn’t choose the thug life, it chose me
I approach life differently, uniquely but admittedly
It look me long enough to see
This is how it’s meant to be
I’m a poetic thug come ride with me
The journey ain’t going to be easy
But I’ll be there for you if you’re there for me
Everybody needs a friend
Everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs a hug, even a thug
Accept me for who I am
A thug by nature, that’s who I am
Sincerely, the poetic thug

To Hurt a Woman Is To Hurt God Himself

A woman belongs to God, not to man
Created from Adams rib
She was made to be by man’s side
Not above or below or just a ride
She is not to be treated any lesser
She is the life giver
Yet man continues to test her
She bares the pain that no man can bare
Man should be fair and care
To see that in today’s world is unfortunately rare
How much more can she take
Overtime she has cried and cried
Man is blind to this because of his pride
Man should protect and provide
Her sorrow will not end but continue into tomorrow
To hurt a woman is to hurt God himself
