I can't sleep at night cause I'm stuck in fear 
It's impossible to think soon you might not be here .. 
Everyday we spent together was wonderfully reckless it seemed 
All we had done was dreamed 
We dreamed about the future & our good life 
But now the thought of the up coming years feels like pain from a sharp knife 
you see this as what's best for us & that's what I hope to believe 
But your pursuit of the Marines has made my love want to leave
