Matt Doe Poem
Tell it to me once
Tell it to me twice
What the hell three times
Say it sweet and nice
Tell me that you want me
You want to share my life
Tell me that you need me
Please don’t tell me lies
Say that you won’t hurt me and never make me cry
Don’t tear my heart to pieces
Don’t make me fall and die
Just great me with a smile
Embrace me with a kiss
Tell me who we are
Seal it with a kiss

Matt Doe Poem
trawlers steam out from dutch harbour
patroling the frozen waves
serching for gold under the sea
to feed my family
in the wheelhouse the stars shine in
skyes dark and air so thin
no mater where this vessel takes me
my heart is yerning out for you
heaven on the water
is where im dreaming of my love
i see your face on the misty spray
as im calling out your name
heaven on the water
it wont be long my love
for a few more days i know you`l guide me
guide me home to you
icey winds shiver my spine
as we bring out catch abord
empty net and broken dreams
as the waves come crashing down
storms break loose with a crash of thunder
rolling across the bering sea
up and down around then under
but still i dream of you
heaven on the water
is where im dreaming of my love
i see your face on the misty spray
as im calling out your name
heaven on the water
it wont be long my love
for a few more days i know you`l guide me
guide me home to you
i see you face as the boat goes down
sea whispering my name
beconing me to the river
where we first found love
heaven on the water
im still here my love
watching you and our daughters
from the stars above
heaven on the water
calling out your name
calling out your name
heaven on the water
calling out your name

Matt Doe Poem
War is declared
the field is set
blood-filled pawns on a chess set
with the flag raised and weapons primed
for our disposable heroes
their time is nye
the stone cross roads and the moistest fells
warmed from the flames of hell
a piercing stare across the room
office politics contempt and gloom
man climbing man
the mountain to the alpha male
man climbing man
bullying on a sliding scale
violent words and painful cries
webs of sin and deadly lies
the new boy blues will settle in
who cares what race or fat or thin
don’t go crying to the boss
your tearful eyes cost you your job
portraying weakness and insomnia
bloodshot breath with a sour spike
man climbing man
the mountain to the alpha male
man climbing man
bullying on a sliding scale

Matt Doe Poem
Reach for the sky
Days lived in black and white
Couldn’t tell if it was day or night
Same *****different day
All the same to me
The Kyle show on the box
Wearing 7 day old socks
Each drop more fills my insides
So drunk I can’t cry
Such a bitter twisted suicide
Said Bonnie and Clyde
You can run, you can hide
Reach for the sky your money or your life
They didn’t think about the future
Just a roll of the dice
Cos tomorrow never comes
You’ll see me in the corner now
Brown paper bag in my grip
Smell like a brewery look like a piece of shit
But all alone in my corner
There’s still a flame and it burns
You can run, you can hide
Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde
Reach for the sky you can still save your life
Make each day about the future
Just forget about the past
Reach for the sky and see tomorrow come

Matt Doe Poem
As the full moon glows over a crystal rose underneath my window
a crispy haze of solitude surounds
But as the moonlight glares and shadows dispare in a cloud of darkness
you hand joins mine as our hearts combine
and our pasion comes to life

Matt Doe Poem
Memory
so its time to learn about myself
cos every day im getting worse
looks like its time to take a fall
but life gets better after all
feel like ive lived enough to know
how things creep up and take you slow
find solace inside ones own walls
does life get better after all ?
say farewell to the life we had
but now your gone i dont feel so sad
the pain that you used to endure
has ceased but i have hit the floor
your memory will forever be
in thoses you loved and indeed me
you held me up in times of need
stayed with me when others fled
last call now we lay you down to rest
dear friend we now say goodbye
untill we all meet again
this story will never have an end
ill raise a glass and fake a smile
then turn my smile into a sigh
but i know you will always be
with me in a
memory

Matt Doe Poem
and so it begins
can we ever feel pain over pain? a lust for the grave? we shall see
it has become an obsession of late that the suffering of angels that cannot
escape
the tourture of mortals and slayers of debt
come as visions throughout the day to disrupt the dimensions of time and space
to dismember the ocntents of the human race
dream my child as best you well as when you wake in the depths of hell
parisians weep in the winters musk as vampires dawn as it reaches dusk
a fear and hatred storms the skies clouds disintergrate with a betryalls lies
the lust for more the need for power grows and grows with every hour
a broken smile with hate inside at lust for blood from a virgin bride
sweet red nectar from broken flesh drained and acepted to repay a debt
a debt of destruction from a siars fangs i yern for a stake from a humans hands
two hundred years i wish no more just my final ashes on the floor
we are what we are souls lost of found, but we all end up beneath the ground
am i the monster you wished youve been despatched by sunlight with a slient
scream

Matt Doe Poem
Fall into Forever
Jaded winter thaws my mind
Like a cold november morning
Watch my soul catch fire in the wind
What still lingers in the pale moonlight
Is not worth the pain
As we fall into forever
Winter rain washes away
My mistakes my woes and pain
A million miles away
As we fall into forever
Drink, pills and thoughts of you cascade
Terrified and ashamed
Shattered glass and broken frames
Crimson oceans flood my dreams
Drowining me
Into surender
(fall into forever)
Sweet release
Now I stand alone in the pale moonlight
I feel your pain
As i fall into forever
Then I feel your tears
As they fall on me
(drowning )
As I fall into forever
Sweet Dreams
Forever

Matt Doe Poem
Death was too good
Imprisioned in chains
Born to be undone
By rust and the rain
Once more I be slain

Matt Doe Poem
I woke today and saw that you were gone
Dont know if you were right i guess now I must have been wrong
Shaking my head in the mirror only thought is nevermind
You were my kryptonite
I was your Superman
The faces in the street all look like the spit of you
Long blonde hair bright blue eyes and the devil singing from your heart
As I keep walking I just hope these dreams subside
Your face a point blank range oh how i wish i died
Friends call me crazy
How right they could be
I guess my mind should be
In a better place and time
With no conflicts of interests or tears of sorrow
Am I back on solid ground
My world is rosey now
I back to how I was
The madness now burried on the dark side of the moon
No need for phone booths
No need for lois lane
Just me, myself, this player has returned to the game
