Who Is Next

No date announced, No stipulated time given
No clue about the venue
No hint on how it will come

Surely, it must take place
How pleasant it will be when it takes place
How sad we become when it takes place
How fearful we become the moment it takes place.

I look over the fields behold great flowers and plants
Wow! what a beauty and nice fragrance
Joy in the air like the news of a new baby.

Shortly afterwards, i mean with just little time
The joy got eroded
The blossoms have withered
The beauty has vanished

They are not permanent in their earthly nature
They change. They blossom and they wither away
Their change is the only permanent thing we can see

So they live in their turns,
so they die in their turns not following any order
But the love of their death is the law of new life.
And so they always chorus: Who is next?

The answer to that is always: We don't know
Neither do i know.
If we do not know who is next, then let ALL prepare.

Let Everybody lives as if he is the next
Since Somebody is the next
Of course Anybody could be the next
Let nobody thinks he can't be the next

Poverty

Poverty is not a slogan
It is a reality in our organ
Though for time immemorial it had begun
it is not to be treated as bygone

When in situational Poverty
There will be absence of property
May be due to job scarcity
Then you almost become a nonentity

For some it is a generational poverty
And so they give in to lazity
lack of great deal of ingenuity
may engage in unnecessary curiosity

To be factual and kind
The worse is poverty of the Mind
Category of idiot such is lined
Even when given the sun he will not shine

His mind is on price and not value
Rice and lice may even mingle
Provided they bubble
He may even want to burgle

For those genuinely poor
kept pressing but closed is every door
Sleeping at times on a bare floor
Despite observing every law

Facing it all
Ensure life doesn't play you like a ball
Be wise and read handwritings on the wall
Embrace it when opportunities call

sometimes you will need to start small
Rely on God you will stand tall
Surely, with him you will not fall
And your plane of life will never enter a stall.

Dear Gehazi

Oh! dear Gehazi
Did you learn that from Elisha?
What have you got to do with Ferrari?
When will you be like? ur master?

hmm! u look for materials to get
your aim is to acquire private Jet
For you want to remain in d bracket
of the so called Elite
as if that is a ticket
to enter the heavenly banquet

chai!
What are you doing with Bridget
Under your blanket
when you are to be in the outskirts
engaging in the conquest
To bring glory to the name of Christ.

Oh master of the vineyard
the journey is getting hard
And the chosen are not on their guard
Things are getting real bad

they rely on their own hands
so there are tumult among the shepherds
Not even better among the lads
they fail to imitate Jeremiah
they relax like the days of Hosea

though the harvest is full
the laborers are few
but for some on d field
they yield only bad fruits
complicating the work of the farmer

Hosea four verse six
that, they failed to fix
they have rather become beasts
feeding voraciously on the lambs

come oh Father of all
Give priests enthusiasm for the Gospel,
Zeal for the salvation of all,
witness to the true Spirit.
humility in service, Fellowship with one another and with all.

Remain In the Boat

oooo ah, This man called Peter?
It is I, did he not hear the Master?
He doesn't need to prove any point
but he was with Him on the mount

At Tabor a while ago, him a fisher
Suddenly applied to be a constructor
Imagine, building without a plan
He was not even afraid of harmattan.

Because his mouth was in astir
he asked to move on sea expecting no stir
'if it is you,' a statement similar to mockers
Particularly Jesus' enemies

We heard it in his 1st temptation (mt 4:3)
Among those for his condemnation (mt 26:63)
Same d thief at the left hand echoes in confusion
No wonder Peter began to sink
his impetuosity took him to death's brink.

He should have remained in d boat
The master was walking towards d boat
The rabbi had to return him to d boat
And d wind died not until they enter the boat

Pls, don't be lost in wander
because you seek signs&wonders
remain in the boat the Church
Don't jump to avoid a crunch
God will meet you at ur point of needs.

Life

Wondering at life i mused, it is stage by stage
Worrying in life i echoed, add nothing to the gauge
Weighing the life i noticed honour comes not by age
Wandering i discovered, life can put one in a cage
Watching i observed, there are people filled with rage
Waiting i witnessed, they were denied of their wage

Writing i cogitated in the corner of my cottage
What! i shouted, life's struggle is real and not a mirage
Working i realise Life doesn't gives what one deserves
Willing i Strife for i know life gives what one demands
We only need to take one step at a time.

February

Facing it all
Ensure life doesn't play you like a ball
Be wise and read the handwriting on the wall
Raise your head and stand tall
Unnoticed, they will think you are small
Avail yourself when opportunities call
Rise in newness with God you will not fall
Your plane of life will never enter a stall

So Says the Angel

Lightening the world,
the essence of her creation;
Interacting with the divine,
 the reason for my submission;
Lying in wonder
I ponder on the vision.

In the morning the sun tells more about her mission
Aglow she shines, her glory illumines even the nation
No weapon fashion against her shall come to fruition.

Even amidst the storm She is unsinkable
Enlarged is her coast she is more adorable
Considering her glory she is better than the honorables

How come she shares in the heavenly traits?
The question i raised in my reflection.
The special One she is, so says the Angel
For eternity she is to be revered, so added the angel
And so I bowed in adoration, for so says the Angel

Rib

How wonderfully you were made
Unique and gorgeous you were fashioned.

You were created in my absence and being
But i was there in our unity
This is why you seem more of me
Reason is my holding on to you
And reason is your coming to be.

In us let the union be united
All i needed in you i find
Filled my tank of joy if to be measured
My part you are; i'm not to be estranged.

To have you eternally i have willed
My joy, my life, my missing Rib.

You

I'm a Father of the nights
But you are a mother of the lights
Insightful this blend from the heights
Darkness and night must be right
Enduring through any flight
Beauty that sparkles with the brights
Oh my love, my delight
I take you for a flight

Dear Elizabeth

Enlightened i got when i entered your world
Like the Sun shinning on the board
Indeed i marvel at the sight of my lord
Zippy like the sound of the chord

All i seek is for us to be together
Better if the bond grows stronger
Enclosed in your love i can move higher

Thought of you will never elude my heart
Hold me dearly my precious Jewel
