Nastassia Langston Poem
Behind every door, you'll find a window
But what you find might not come so simple...
Sudden surprises, split second mistakes
Who's to know what hearts will break
Farfetched ideas, practical jokes
Make-believe, a life ending hoax
Constant moaning, tax collectors phoning
Diseases running rapid, aids even roaming
Children stop growing, with nobody knowing
The world in a spin, while mouths they are foaming
Youth they are zoning, trying to get in and see what is going
But something so wrong, has ended our song
We no longer belong, no one left to be strong
It's like a disease that we can't even seize
So we stay on our knees, always asking God please
Please lend us the keys, to get out and break free
So just maube again, I'll be able to see
Everything that I can, and am needed to be
But to sit here and wait, it has ended our fate
Love it comes second rate, nothing left to now take
It must be some mistake, no more time to shed hate
Or believe what is fake
For now it is time to show love for hope's sake

Nastassia Langston Poem
We cry for freedom
We cry for peace
We cry for this war to end
We cry for the lives lost through this struggle
We cry to hope it never began
We cry for the days gone by and by
For the soldiers who fought with both bravery and pride
We cry for all those sleepless nights
In hopes that they'll find a peace of mind
We cry fo the ones who were captured in battle
We pray they're not ours, but all hope rests in vein
We cry for the memories of our fellow soldiers
We cry for their return back home
We cry for the ones who wish to be saved
We cry for their fears and hopes to be brave
We cry for the pain that we can't feel
And just to imagine just seems so unreal
We cry that our hearts would understand
But then we realize we're only one man
We've cried and cried so many tears
For this war to end, we cry even still

Nastassia Langston Poem
One tear, one cheek
Life so little, so bleak
Hope so near, so far away
No longer words here left to say
All the pain it falls like rain
Soaks the heart and leaves its stain
Split in two you stand there left
A world alone both mute and deaf
Time goes by, life stands still
Ill imaginings from a choking pill
Hallucinations; the loss of mind
To cover up where no one can find
A heart that's stripped so gone away
For the hope of no one left to stay
Out of control, the mind far gone
With hope no one will see what's wrong
Violently the tears the stream
Only to wish it were a dream
Life's mistakes, constant heartbreaks
Where the soul just learns to ache
With nothing left, there's none to take
But a hope for love and one's own sake
With that lonely tear and dampened cheek
We sit alone, so cold, so meek
With a lonely heart, we can't compete
For a love so real, we can only seek
And when we finally find it, we'll be complete

Nastassia Langston Poem
The explicit material, these words so unlyrical
Love, what a miracle
I do time, for these serial crimes in my mind
Disappointment in every action of passion
My soul, it is smashin, this world I am crashing
Don't believe in my actions, I find no satisfaction
I'm tired, I'm scared, this life I have failed
These feeling so rare, my life unprepared
Don't nobody care, they look and just stare
Have you seen such a monster, the fake, the imposter
The world, the have lost her
Deep in a coma, do you smell the aroma, aroma of death
Grabbing hold of each breath
But I guess I'm not meant, to be here, to exist
Forget a bout bliss, happiness so remiss
Yet I yearn for that kiss, cuz of love I do miss
But I hope in the end I'll no longer resist
