Summer

summer
hot and humid
running, sleeping, swimming
free time from homework
vacation

Bail Who Was Scared of a Scale

There was once a young girl named bail
Who was scared by the sight of a scale
She worked out all day
So the doctor would not say
Bail Bail step up on the scale

Foods

so many different kinds of foods
unhealthy healthy make the charts
unhealthy foods may be masked
though they look healthy and great
they may be a bad mistake
candies are delish
but they are very unhealthy
veggies may seem nasty
but they are nutritious
so make good choices
for bad ones could
be a dire mistake

Safe Haven

A place where
Things are fine
Nothing hurts you

A place where
Things are beautiful
Nothings destructive

A place where
Most people want to find
But few reaches its gates

A place that
Is not hard to find
Look deep and search
And you will find
Your own safe haven

Grandmothers Prayer

Dear God
as i kneel hear and pray
help me lead them in a way
though there expectations may fall
let there hearts stand tall
for that is their connection
to go in the right direction
though the path may seem troubled
they will always find their way
Amen

Alpha and Omega

pack clan were all together
preying on the wounded
red beady eyes
fangs of sharpness
a beautiful coat
helps me the most
stay warm in the winter

Winter

crisp winds howl
over dormant lands of white
sheets of snow
cover every spot
cold frigid air
gives a big chill
as the plants and animals
wait to be spring
back to life
with springs warm touch

Outcast

Feeling shut down
Never existed

Look around
See your love ones gone

Don’t care anymore
Life must go on If you’re ready or not

Taking people you care about and love
Just to think One day you will be gone to

Reasons To Be With Me

come live with me and be my passion
and i will show what gifts will ration
for money, clothes, and fancy cars
will lead to be all of ours

and we will laugh in the day
watching how people play
by our house of fantasy
while listening to others vanity

and we will make our bed on compassion
and billions of unexplored reactions
with bunches of vibrant lights
showing off our best highlights

clothes so wonderfully soft
you wouldn't expect them cloth
while standing in lavish shoes
with extravagant reviews

a belt of leather and silver clasps
i will make sure you grasp
if these things make you rush in
come live with me and be my passion

my people shall welcome you in
for they want a new kin
if these things make you rush in
come live with me and be my passion

Expectations

in a life
full of grief
expectations is all you need
to help push you through the day

something everybody is willing to give
but nobody's willing to live
in the heat of time
everybody's ready to chime

in every aspect
you'll be wrecked
by all the expectations
and their dictations

don't worry
if everything is blurry
for theirs always a sunny day
if i must say

even if your hearts at bay
let it come back to the day
where your life will be yours
and you wont have to war

because in a life
full of grief
expectations is all you need
to help see the light of another day
