A New Face For An Old Acquaintance

if i was a gun i'd be pointed at you, and even if i was a knife i still wouldnt be sharp enough to cut through your veil of lies and see everything you do to me, the way you twist me to be like you, the way you deform and sculpt me to whatever sickness it is you want through your hurtfull, lovely little eyes, i call you my CHAOTIC heart, as you and me remain forever worlds apart, even though you said you loved me you can never steal part of me, even when we made love, yes LOVE not just sex, and i held you close, it is true you crept in deeper than most, but i became aware that only true love can touch my soul. So when the bitter ashes fell to encircle my body as i laid there dying and looking up through lustfull eyes, my heart went cold as i realized you were killing me....and this night with you became so ugly.

And the Band Played On With the Waltz...

I can remember how the sunlight exploded across your face and those summer days of green how you fell into my arms and and i watched the sky illuminate your beauty and how it forever etched this picture of days long past into my head so that i can never forget your brown eyes looking back at me, i will never get past loving you, and i dont want anyone else, i dont even care, im stuck back at shalomberger holding your hand when we were still so young, when the world was still ok and the future was ours to take, before the infamous break of sanity, leaving me forever changed and stealing what little i held dear, ive been held down, locked from you and id do anything to turn back the pages and see your smile for the first time and wash your tears from the memories of those painful yesterdays...i would have never left, never gone away, never lost it all, id still be alive inside, but lets pick up the pieces and put them back together and move on, you were all i ever had.

not very poetic...but it is heartfelt

Lovely Romantic Shadows

as the echo dulls into a murmur
and joy ceases to be
in sorrowfull remembrance
I think back upon you,
and me

Recalling the initial triumph,
the victory of winning your heart
and cursing every waking moment,
that warm autumn eve...
It fell apart

I can still picture that dawn that followed
with a shattered soul that would remain
and even now i bear the wound of loss
to bitterly remind this man
that I chose the path of pain

Facing An Angel Is Facing Your Fears

I know what it feels like, to be so tenderely close to death,
its like the two of you are lovers, you can feel each other's breath,
your entangled partner exhales, the cold air on your body sets,
a passionate night in the arms of the pale rider,
is indeed a night no man forgets.

The Whispers of a Thousand Words

lets delve into the pychological...

I do not create words, they create me,
in fact, they often consume me
I live and breathe metaphor, and simile
they reflect my bliss, my reverance, my remorse,
they mirror me, my pesona, my deepest emmotions,
when strung together words become juggernauts and can overtake me...
words are unstoppable
anguish can be dictated by a mere verse,
the glory of love personified in a prose,
each line another brick in the structure,
the foundation of humanity
that need to be heard,
that burning desire to live on, even if not in the flesh,
a desperation to not be forgotten,
proclaiming;
"i was","i am", "i will be forever",
"i too laughed, and cried, just as you do"
words are monumental
they eclipse the span of mortal life, the human clock, the deadly countdown to our end...
words can overtake me
words are unstoppable
